Very nice, Myers. Nice to see you posting again too.
Anyway, I would suggest more wear on pieces that see the most use. The flash hider, bolt, fire selector, etc.
Curious as to how you got the dirty look, though.

Thanks GB. I tried wearing down as many metal pieces as I could, but unfortunately I could only find really fine steel wool, so it took forever to wear out the few piece's that I did.
As for the dirty look, it was really simple actually. I just took some flat back spray paint and sprayed it all over a shredded rag. Smudge it all over your gun, and viola! Instant fake "dirtyness!"

Why not just ... throw some mud around? It's reversible, looks natural and blends in well!

I was looking for the more greasy, smudged, worn look, and I'm pretty sure mud would get really messy. Plus it would eventually crumble off. Paint is, to an extent, permanent.

Why not just ... throw some mud around? It's reversible, looks natural and blends in well! Because then it would actually be dirty, like in real life! These guns are all replicas, therefore the dirtiness must also be replicated on a 1:1 scale ;D

Myers, that looks real legit, great job! And I agree with GB, more wear on the high traffic areas.

Nice job Myers. Dirt I think is only something you want to put on while in the field. Its messy and a bit impractical inside the house. Looks really nice anyhow.
