-Currently working on uploading videos and pictures- I'll post my thoughts after I work on uploading these.
Picture album: s540.photobucket.com/albums/gg356/stopsignslaya/Ypsilanti%20Matrix%20Airsoft/Videos: 1: 2: And last but not least, my favorite video, 3: All videos are 1080p capable. So if you're internet can handle them, watch in 1080p for best video! All the videos are the raw-unedited forms of the video, so I didn't edit out the ground shots. I tried my hardest to remember to point my gun forward when I wasn't shooting, but stuff happens and I forgot a lot of times. So please bare with the ground shots. Response: Great day at the field. I was so looking forward to playing here since last Sunday when I did a walkthrough of the field. When it came down to actually playing, the field ran very well. Better than I had expected too. This field is beautiful. The field definitely needs more covers thrown up, bigger ones as A1 said. Also I suggested we put up some sort of CQB building (similar to the small building that sits on the cement field at No Limits) some where on the field. Also that swamp field was absolutely beautiful. By far that swamp was one of the best games of airsoft I've played in a long time. Only flaw I can say for today was the lack of people. A lot of the people who didn't show up today, really don't know what they were missing out on. I'll possibly be there next weekend.

This field is awesome and has amazing potential. Normally I don't like outdoor/field but this place seems to have tight quarters aspects that were incorporated in ways that you just couldn't get indoors. With time and work, it'll only get better.
Management is awesome too. That guy is a dreamer with a heart of gold and the mentality to be a student of the game.
Can't wait til next week RAIN OR SHINE

Good stuff ozone. I am Really impressed with the photo quality from that Iphone.
Heres my synopsis of the field: It has amazing potential with extra twists. The vast tall grass swamp was by far the coolest feeling I have had playing airsoft, and can really make a realistic scenario.
The combination of the hills and numerous bunkers adds to the intensity of firefights; we need more and larger ones. Build day anyone?
Lastly, the owner, like Snake Eyes stated, is a dreamer and very enthusiastic. He said to me that he was overwhelmed by the utter shock of having being exposed to such a large community of our own and is only looking foward to expanding the sport with us.
Definitely coming out next week with some more guys.

Things are definitely being discussed! The field owner and operators are developing their field quickly. I definitely forsee next summer being the beginning of their mil-sim once all of the field kinks get worked out.

We should brainstorm some new game types.
Based on the fact that there are numerous "Bases," There should be a Conquest game type; two opposing teams must place their flag(s) in as many bases as possible. The team with the most bases by the end of the time period wins.

I've been seeing the signs on Michigan Ave when I'm working for a while now and am glad to see something on it. I called the number on the sign but I got a really funky answering thing.
I'll see if I can get my team out to the next game to check out the field.

Definitely enjoyed myself on Sunday. Keith and the members of YoungStars did a fine job for running their first airsoft game. With time and more experience they can only get better. The admission price is more than fair, also they sold pizza and water and the prices for those were also reasonable, and didn't try and rip you off with the food prices I've seen at other fields. I think a large structure down at the bottom of the field would be really cool. Especially if it was two stories. Other than that they are learning and with help from those who are stepping it up like Ozone & Trust I'm expecting great things from this field! Will definitely try and attend as well next weekend!

I had a great time at the game, I can easily say the most fun I've ever had at a rec game. The level of player was very high, which always makes it a better day. I really liked the owner, a very cool dude, and he obviously isn't trying to just turn a profit, he truthfully cared. I cant wait for the next game.
