My question: Why?

I'm guessing it's the one made by KWC and licensed by Cybergun, seeing as though it looks like it has the metal slide and full DE trademarks. It looks nice, but for $120 to $150 it really seems impractical as a sidearm when there are so many better options out there for a cheaper price tag.

Also, don't be so quick to assume that I paid full price... I got it for about 40% off. Yes, it is a KWC. Full metal, which is why I like it. I don't use it much. It is Co2 powered and Propane/Greengas powered. It shoots under 350 which is surprising. And why? Because I can. I bought it as a novelty, and this is the most fun thing to shoot. I do have a more efficient and practical sidearm.

Because Airsoft is supposed to be fun, and Desert Eagle GBB's are 100% concentrated fun.

Oh don't get me wrong, I like the gun, and I bet that thing is fun to shoot. Definately would be a great gun to show off and plink with. Is it a select fire model? I know most can go full auto.

This model does not go full auto (thank god) because that would destroy it. It is deadly accurate though, and is quite intimidating! It really is not so practical for high speed combat, because it flops around like a dead fish in my leg holster. Plus, it weighs three pounds. But, I'll use it for hostage games, general CQB, and only if I feel like using it. Looks nice, great picture quality. I just got myself a new sidearm as well . Thank you. I used my new Canon to shoot it.

What Desert Eagle replicas can go full auto? Don't just name a brand, I need a link to the model with "select fire" or "full auto" in the product description.

I agree. Putting a selector switch on a Desert Eagle is like putting nitrous in a Smart car, it's unrealistic and it's just going to break the thing.
