Get an AKA2 or Clone Wilcox. It looks good. This. You need a MUUUUCH cooler mount to match that helmets' swag level, Norotos Rhino's are complete shit. Those clips for the Boogie Regulators?

I knew that the arm was going to catch some flak. I will most likely go with Roughnecks advice and get the clone Wilcox and some 15s. The MS2000 isn't going to change. I sort of like the throwback look that it gives the helmet. They still use them, so why shouldn't I?
The clips are set up for ESS profiles. I just took the swivel portion off for the pictures.

Eh, I'd disagree. You waited and saved your pennies for the AirFrame, might as well save for a genuine Wilcox G24 or the like. Especially because the clone arm is shittier than the Rhino and prolly won't end up holding those 15's for too long. Or moar LPBP/Manta/MPLS.... Mmmmmm......delicious.

Just a quick question... I've never been one to dump a bunch of dough on a helmet, but just outta curiosity, how much do some of these setups end up costing?

Most likely more than my gun and my entire loadout!

.I have nothing else to say....They're usually a pretty penny.
I know I've got about $1050 into my BaseJump and another $1300 into my MICH.
That airframe is prolly just over the $1050-1100 mark at the moment.

When I had my PASGT set up like a LWH it was about $200 or so and that was for a pretty low-speed lid compared to some of these others...

Cqbr hit it on the nose, sadly I'm not quite done with it either.
I know it seems crazy to have a $1,000+ helmet for airsoft, but I don't even think about it that way anymore. It is more about collecting the gear for the sake of having something cool. Some guys like comics, I like Multicam. I know that wearing all my shit isn't going to make me the most elite airsofter, but that isn't my goal.
I am hopefully starting a new job this summer, while it will be much more physically taxing, it will also give me a lot more money to blow. So, hopefully I will be getting more update of my kit up.
Thanks for the comments!

Holy shit I expected expensive but not a grand+ expensive. Don't get me wrong, I'm not judging, it's your money... spend it on what you want.

Damn, major props for having the willpower to drop that much on a helmet. My wallet would never allow me.

It's brain bucket time! Finally finished getting everything together; it might not be the most accurate set up, but I put it together for next to nothing. Rails will eventually house a Contour HD. Might ditch the ratchet strap, the bracket mount is stable enough without it. A universal shroud might come later, I also might hit the rails with some 1917 khaki. Edit: Flag has been put on the other side. Thanks Shanker.

I like it, but the flag needs to go on the other side, the stripes always point to your back. Other than that, it looks very nice.

How much $$$ did you put in that, Sar?

Excluding the base helmet: Rails: $15 Bracket mount: $12 NVG arm: $20 Velcro: $1.25 Plus a little paint.
All of the NVG related stuff is surplus and the rails are replica. If you go down that route it ends up being way easier on the wallet than some of the other (albeit better looking) lids in this thread.

That's a lot better than I was expecting. I'm probably going to do something similar. I hate wearing a black baseball cap during the outdoor games...
