Well I finally got the game together. The field is a large woods, (about 80 acres) which is filled with hills and many trails. Also the field has a building that is surronded by assorted pieces of metal, (generator, rusted out car, semi trailer) but that is still not pinned down as part of the game field. I'am planing to play mostly pilot down scenario's. I also have set up a firebase on top of a hill for an attack/defend mission. The game is set for the 23rd of february, the field is located in Temperance MI.

And minky if your worried about being the oldest guy there dont be I'm 19 and CLM45 is 20, some other guys from ohio airsoft plaing to be there are 26.

The 80 acre lot sounds very tempting. The distance isn't all that bad either (about 2 hours) but getting there might be due to a lack of transportation.  Still, Feb 23rd is..aah crap nevermind. Feb 23rd is Hado Jr.'s birthday. Doh, well there goes my plan. hehe *sigh* |

Hehe, you took me too seriously when I said that! I just always assume there's going to be a lot of youngins at events, so I feel like an old fart at 19. Looks like most of the people attending are around the same age though, so no worries mate!
As of now I'm 99.9% sure I'll be coming to the game, and it sounds like a great place to play. Looking forward to meeting even more MI airsoft players! If you want or need any help setting stuff up at the game area, or would like to meet up anytime before the game, I'm more than willing to drive over.
Hado, that sucks that you can't come, but maybe you could just say you're taking Hado Jr. on a birthday surprise trip.... Hmmm, we could even use him as a VIP in a game ;D Save the kidnapped baby!
*Edit* I forgot to ask about the staging area/safe zone. Will we be using the building, or just getting geared up by our cars?

Well as I said before the using the building or even being around it is still not confirmed. I think we will have to park our cars then bring our gear to the field.

where is temperance locted.how far is it from the metro detroit area.

Sounds cool. How far is it from Chicago?
Mind a little constructive criticism? Blackhawk Down is a lousy name for a skirmish unless it will be somehow similar to the movie. Otherwise it will just be seen as an attention grabber. But maybe thats what you want it to be.

Ya I know, I guess the pilot down mission might have a little to do with the movie? Ok maybe not how about defending a hill? The truth is I'am not creative so I just thought of the first thing that came to mind. Chicago IL? thats about 4 hour I would assume.

havok i might be able to go.If robo or retraw go then ill be able to go.when retraw and robo see this skirmish then thell probaly go.temperance is about 40 min from where we live so i can make it if they cant go anyways.

Does anyone have a gun that shoots faster than 50fps? By the way the meeting place is the wendy's near the corner of sterns and secor at 12:00 am. We'll head to the game at 12:30, if anyone needs directions just email or post on the forums.

I was just thinking does a blackhawk down mission sound good to you guys, like as in some people are defending a strong position against a larger enemy force, and they would have to hold off the attackers intil their backup arrived?
And if anyone else has any idea's go ahead and speak up.
