Well as you all know, we can't get airsoft guns with full trades.
Instead you get unpainted trades that can't be seen unless your face is touching the gun.
But there is an extremely cheap and fast way to get great trades on your gun!
You will need:
-Crayons or a grease pen. (choose what colors you want, DO NOT USE WASHABLE CRAYONS!)
-Paper towel or a rough rag.
-"Goof off" (optional. It makes getting off the extra crayon/grease pen easy)
-A compressor or your mouth to blow off the little shavings of the crayons.
1. Prep the area and clean the area on the gun you want the trades on.
2. Then you take the Crayon and push down with a good amount of pressure back and forth over the engravings. If there are spots not filled, don't be afraid to do circles or whatever you need to do untill they are filled.
3. Use your mouth or compressor to blow away the shavings so they won't get in your gun.
4. Use the towel to wipe off the crayon on the gun that is around the trades on your gun. Don't be afraid to use force! You won't mess up the trades. Using some Goof off on the towel will make it 10 times faster.
5. Inspect the trades. If there is words or numbers not filled in correctly redo it in that spot only. You don't need to to the whole thing over. haha
6. Drool over the trades that didn't cost you any money, and took only 15 minutes.
I didn't have any step by step pictures because I didn't think of making a guide until I was already done.
But here are the trades I did today:
The sun and zoom makes it hard to see...
Here is a better picture of it.
I hope you like this guide, and hope this will encourage more people to try this out! ;D
