Finally received some small parts for my Marine inspired kit. Obviously I am not going for any Marine Unit SOP, just a loosely based Marine kit modified to my preferences. Let me know what you think! Some new patches. Pretty awesome I think. Michigan State Flag Chicago City Flag The head wrap is actually very cool in the summer, keeps all of you sweat against the body. Crye Precision Gun Clip. I'm liking it so far, no wobble at all, releases easily, more fluid once your used to it than a Serpa. Surefire M961 w/ TNVC TX4 LED Head (600 Lumens) I really want a collapsible stock for the MP5 and still need to pick up a T1. Rail platform is reversed for my Contour GPS. Next project is going to be a Noveske CQBR once I determine what I'm going to use for the power plant.

What MP5 is that? I'm not sure I've seen one quite like that before. I've seen the 4 position fire selector in use before, but the body and stock are a new one on me.

They are the "new" top of the line MP5's from ICS. Come with adjustable electrical burst, streamlined wiring system, split gearbox and from what I can tell, RS stocks. Ridiculous thing is that its just as accurate as my CTW for half the price of the TW5's

I think its just tac gear over a marine gat and camo unless you get an issued flak vest for it.
The vest and chestrig leave a bit to be desired, but the rest is pretty shweet.

I'd recommend a Scalable Plate carrier, like this guy's at the bottom of the page, but if you can't get that, you can do what I did and get a CB 6094 and disguise it. If that plate carrier in your avatar is your carrier, you could even disguise that as an SPC. Another thing I've seen marines doing is getting stuff to wear over their armor like HSGI wasatches and just run their plates in it. Which, based on the price of that chestrig (which looks like a knockoff to begin with), you might as well skip it and just get something from highspeedgearinc.com

Well the nice thing about the was/weesatch plate carriers is that they;re open sided, so they arent too hot. Plus they have a built in open-top pouch/bund that holds 8 mags, 1 smoke, 1 MBITR on the wee; 10 mags, 1 smoke, 1 MBITR on the was- and if you put your own smoke/MBITR pouches on it, then you can run like 12 and 14 mags respectively.

Had it custom made. I can get most city/state flags in all patterns.
