Everybody has different opinions and personal tastes when it comes to what they wear. Some people try to wear what is accurate to what certain parts of our military is using, others use what they feel works best for them, and some just wear what they think looks cool. That being said, very few people wear motocross armor while playing. It's... unnecessary, bulky, and not mil-sim at all. Also, black isn't really a color that blends in with nature. Take a look at the gallery, especially the gear thread, and get a feel for what people wear. I'm not saying that you have to be like everybody else, but you'll get an idea of what you like and what looks good (and doesn't stick out).

IMO, get rid of the AO2 mask and go with goggles, a balaclava, and an IBH helmet. Also, for a look like that, using an MP5 and pistol would look cool. And get a tactical MOLLE vest with MP5 and pistol mag pouches, and a drop leg holster.

You do realize that several things will happen, most likely in the following order:
1. People will look at you funny when you either don't show up on a motorcycle and promptly change into something else, or show up in a car... and don't promptly change into something else.
2. You will get hot as mastodon balls in a getup like that.
3. Between being made fun of by, well, pretty much everyone and being super uncomfortable from literally sweating your dick off, you will probably not have a good time.
I realize you're new around here, but trust me, being the guy who comes to games dressed like this is not the way you want people to get to know you. Take a look around the Gallery, or even come over to the ODA 561 forum and see how we look. I realize the super accurate military look isn't for everyone, but there are plenty of civilian/CIA/terrorist loadouts that won't make you look like a gigantic tool.

Thor is pretty much right on the money. You shouldn't show up to an airsoft event looking like you just came from a supercross race or FMX rally. Airsoft is not paintball either. We don't dress up like we're at X-Games, but instead dress up like we are prepared to fight in a battle/war.

Just add some neon paint and you're ready for paintball!

Hey man,
To each his own. Airsoft is nerdy as hell. Coming in that get-up will make nerdier than hell, but still we are all nerds so it really doesn't matter.

I know of one other member (Karustumoe or something like that), who dresses up similarly to what has been posted. It is actually pretty awesome, but I believe he threw up at the last No Limits game due to the heat.
Arsenul, that loadout looks more specified for Paintball, rather than airsoft, but whatever.

Actually, I think with my first post for this thread, it'll prove very effective (I think so) in CQB.

Wearing full BDU's alone will cause you to sweat balls outside, just imagine all that BLACK gear will be like. You will be visiting the hospital from the heat within the first hour. Do yourself a favor, and research gear that won't kill you. Haha I understand you think it looks cool, but practicality comes before looks.

I think the outfit looks kind of neat, it looks like somthing similar to the game crysis. If I saw that on the field I would think it looks more like a futuristic power-suit than a motocross outfit. Nonetheless I agree that the outfit would make you overheat tremendously. During the summer months at outdoor events there are always a few victims of heat stroke and you would be one of them if you wore that gear all day. It wouldn't be a practical gear load-out.
Anywho wouldn't it be neat to see a person show up to an airsoft event in a replica suit of MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor/Mark VI ? Like one of those $1000+ suits that cosplayers wear.

The guy who plays at CQB city on milsim junkie's YouTube channel wears that stuff. He is also confined to a wheel chair...

I would die from laughter if someone wore a ballerina(?) outfit with a chest rig to an airsoft event. That would be hilarious.
