I've finally finished building my G&P M4 and I couldn't be happier with how it came out. ExternalsG&P M4 Spectre DR replica (may paint it, or at least the gold controls. ACM FDE sucks) G&P crane stock Socom Gear M4 RIS II Socom Gear barrel nut for G&P bodies Pro&T Peq-15 Element dual pressure switch VFC M3X Magpul rail ladders KAC front and rear BUIS Tango Down vertical grip InternalsPrometheus 363mm 6.03mm barrel SCS nub AWS Raptor MOSFET (programmable for 3-round burst, active breaking, ROF control) Re-shim, re-lube, AOE corrected with sorbothane on the cylinder head Currently shooting at 405fps +/- 2fps on the stock spring and between 30 and 35rps with 15c and 20c lipos.

Looks great! Nice job, if you don't mind me asking where did you pick up the barrel nut for the G&P body? I've been looking but most places were out of stock.

Thanks man! I was looking a few weeks ago, so I may have just hit a low stock point.

Damn you for owning the Raptor FET. I've been waiting ages it seems for that to come back in stock. How do you like it?

This actually looks pretty sweet. Minus the color of the scope, that gold looks disgusting IMO. Paint that scope a lighter tan or something to match the gun and it'd look pretty boss.

Haha, I managed to order it from the first shipment AWS received, I literally was browsing their website when it came in stock. It was also only $80 as opposed to the $90 they have it listed at now. I love it though, installation was a breeze and it works great. I can fire much faster in semi auto now that I don't have to release my trigger all the way each time, and 3 round burst mode is a lot of fun. It's well worth the price for the performance increase and the durability, no more burnt out trigger contacts or lockups.

Any issues with the G&P gearbox? I'm debating getting a G&P or a KWA. As I've already had a G&P that has given me nothing but trouble, I want to try KWA. Hows it holding up for you? Also, Looks really nice. Paint the lower and the Spector.

Also, Looks really nice. Paint the lower and the Spector. I haven't had any trouble at all with the G&P gearbox. But I did re-shim it, lube it, and correct the AOE with sorbothane before I fired more than one bag's worth of BBs through it so that probably helped. I did shred my pinion gear though due to bad motor height, but I replaced it with a Deepfire one and my motor has been fine ever since. I think that the G&P pinion gears are made of a softer metal than they should be. But hey, I'd rather replace a pinion gear than a bevel gear. I also stripped a piston when my gun jammed on full auto.

I think it would look better with a tan TD pistol grip. Nice job on everything else though!

I'd like to keep it accurate as a Block II M4, so I'll stick with the standard grip. I do love the feel of the TD grips though.
I replaced the pictures with new ones, the old ones didn't do the gun justice.

But that Specter makes me laugh. You should definitely paint it.

One more question on the FET. In the pictures on AWS's website, the wiring only looks long enough to exit the back of the reciever. Did you have to ask for it to be custom made to go through the buffer tube?
On a more relevant note, the gun looks great.
