Be on the lookout for a person named Kyle Klug. He recently tried to purchase my Maxed Berserker Pure from me and he said he "sent payment". I know as good as well as he did that he did not. As a person of good faith, i let him on my only other RS account just to show i was not scamming him (20m+ items on it). I just got home from work, tried to log on it, and found that he had changed my pass. I quickly changed it back but was too late. He had taken EVERYTHING from that account. Luckily I did not lose a lot but it just goes to show that you really can not trust people now a days just over a game.
His MiA username is 71klug71. I would appreciate it if you guys gave him hell.

I think he actually scammed someone else before.....cause that name just looks awfully familiar along with scamming....
But question....why would you let a random guy to log on your account?
You can simply take a picture of the screen and send the pics to him......

You may want to take his phone # down as posting personal info like that is usually frowned upon. Best of luck getting your account back up to date.

He actually tried a similar thing with me and my RuneScape account. I didn't even bother responding to him once he said: "Let me just log on to make sure you're not scamming and then I'll send you payment later tonight." I just stopped responding to him, I figured he's a scammer with out seeing this post, now this post pretty much confirms my thoughts. I don't know if he's just trying to milk RS accounts from people or he's going to start scamming for other things later on, but I do agree and say watch this guy and don't be afraid to question his transaction claims. Also as a side-note, this should be moved over to the Buyer/Seller ratings. I just posted here because he tried the same little scam with me, but failed at it. Edit: Also another thing, seeing that you're fairly new around these forums (assuming that because you're registered on July 12), don't post things like "I would appreciate it if you guys give him hell", that will only give you A LOT of trash talk back at you. These forums are (usually) all about respect and it is in your best interest if you try avoid starting fights because trust me, a hell storm will come your way from everyone here, so try to stay respectful and you'll save yourself the trouble of being hated upon on the forums. |

Me:Nah I'm good. Not willing to let someone I have no clue who they are jump on my account for free. Also I sold the cash on the account.
Anyone who just joins MiA, has poor grammar, asking me to get on my account before payment is received (even when I included pictures in my thread) seems shady to me.
Edit: Also says "i am not a hacker", that's just digging yourself a hole, especially when you don't have any evidence to back that up.

thanks o-zone. (and knief for moving it). A friend recommended this forum to me so thats why my register date has been quite recent. But back on topic. He did take all the items of value + cash off of a lesser account and he made it members so he could. I know all of you are probably shaking your head about it but I am a person of faith and believe in showing that I do have what i advertise. From now on though, I will take more precaution. This is just sad... Kyle is a regular player in my local group, and I am ashamed of this. My apologies, guys. Needless to say, I will speak to him and see what I can do...
Please, don't let this influence your guys' views on anyone from Capac, as we have a growing airsoft community here and in the surrounding area.
I really don't think he'd do this, but one can never know for sure.

*update* He just texted me after TWO days. First message read, "I didn't hack your f**king account bro, so I would like it if you wouldnt keep telling people i did bro." Me: "umm hmm" Kyle: "Whatt?" Me: "Unless i see a payment im done talking to you". Kyle: "Okay then peace.. Bc i didnt hack I'm too lazy to spell a full word out. Please mock me. f**king account!!". it goes on and on of him shooting F bombs and "swearing on my life duuuude" that he did not do it. Needless to say that the lack of grammar, swearing on his life, and beligerant(spelled right?) cussing has confirmed to myself that he indeed has done it and actually had the nerve to try to get the actual account. EvilFrostop, Honestly he will most likely lie and say that he didnt, but who knows. |
