Holy shit, O-zone!
Well, I literally have nothing else to say, other than what O-zone had mentioned.
One more thing: Orange flashhiders are ugly, but in all seriousness, they are there for a reason, so people don't think your gun is real. I don't have a problem seeing players with orange, because I know they are following the law. I also don't have a problem with blacked out flashiders, because I know that those people should be responsible enough not to "flash" them (no pun intended) around in public.
Just sayin, try not to rip too hard on this fellow for having orange.

[/img] and I just really liked the blue and red tiger stripe camo and I was always irritated that you could never camo your secondary so I thought how sweet would it be to have my shotgun blue camoed? so i took it up with my cousin and he agreed and we both went with this color and design plus the store wwe went to didn't have the right red paint we were looking for, and actually we were going to do the barrel too but because of the way, when I rack the slide my gloves kind of rub against the barrel so I didn't really feel like doing all the work and have it get ruined, but this was a little experiment before we do my M4. So we would know that the paint would be right and there wouldn't be any problems. Plus I think it would be sick for a helmet cam video of tearing stuff up CQC. Sorry for the rant. hahahahahahaha ooooooo so that's why that wierd thing would be posted in threads.
Honestly, Blue Tiger looks awful. Any "Tiger" camo looks dumb. Not trying to rain on your parade here, but I think it looks awful, especially on a shotgun. Airsoft is about military simulation, and this is just bringing in that "CoD Factor" to games and everyone hates it because it's nowhere near real. I personally hate "CoD Fanboys" who come to games thinking they're playing CoD during games, and I think they look so dumb because they aren't tactical at all and just run and gun (as seen in CoD). Also you kept the orange flash hider. That's a fail. One of the first things you should paint/take off on the gun if anything is that flash hider. When I painted my M4, the flash hider was the first thing to get painted. So it looks even more like a toy since you painted it bright blue and kept the orange flash hider on. If you decide to paint another gun, choose a different paint style. At least you didn't ruin an expensive gun with that bad paint and kept it to a shotgun that isn't worth much. I'm trying to give you a little constructive criticism than trying being a d*ck. Ok well I'm sorry about that just I haven't written a complete sentence since my first year of college that wasn't for a paper so I'm sorry about that. Seriously I haven't. Plus I'm still getting used to the rules you have on this board so I guess I am a "noob" in this community and board but I am trying to adapt to this so I'm sorry and to be honest I hated language arts and college English. But I'll do my best. Also, you haven't spoken proper English since your first year of college? According to your birthday on your profile, we're the same age, so we'll both be Sophomores in college this year, so... You pretty much made no sense when saying that. But regardless, you should still be able to at least type/write proper English without a problem. Edit: Also you said you didn't want to paint the barrel because it'd wear down? Paint jobs look 20x sexier when they wear. I painted my M4 and after just two times fielding it, the wear on it looks phenomenal. So when guns have paint and it wears, it looks dead sexy. So you probably would have been better off painting it just to "look better". (Although it's still Blue Tiger and looks like poop)
I never understood why people get so heated when they see some kid paint their gun with a COD paint scheme - its just a $40 airsoft gun, calm down.

The part that gets me is people trying to dictate how someone else enjoys the sport.. I personally love milsim but I certainly wouldn't say thay airsoft ''is milsim''. I fell in love with airsoft years before I had ever attended any milsim events. That being said.. I'm really not a fan of the blue paintjob mainly because it looks to clean. It would looks much Better with A darker blue maybe in satin finish then a dusting of a flat grey or clear. I'm thinking more of an aged real steel look rather than just a wear job.

Just sayin, try not to rip too hard on this fellow for having orange. Neither the state of Michigan nor The United States have a law that dictates that the end user of a replica gun has to keep an orange tip on his gun. The tip must be in place for importation, shipping and sales. However, once the end user has it, he may color any part of it how ever he likes. I can't speak for local municipalities, but it's unlikely that any care enough to pass an orange tip law. But more importantly, nobody is going to see you with an M4 that has 5mm of orange on the end and think that your gun is definitely fake. Passers-by won't think about it and cops are going to treat it like a real gun one way or another. After all, there's nothing to stop somebody from painting the tip (or the whole thing for that matter) of their real gun orange and taking it out for a stroll. Because that possibility exists, that orange tip will save you from absolutely nothing.

I know there is no official law for orange tips, I just didn't know how else to word it, because most soccer moms tend to view it that way. Just trying to be on the safe side, that is all.

I am not trying to start anything but I though with the orange tip its a replica but without it then it is consitered a firearm. Thats how I thought it worked, again I am not trying to start anything please corect me if I am wrong.

I agree with Miles and snafu. If someone wants a CoD paint scheme, then let them. No one has any business telling people what they can and cannot do when it comes to painting their own airsoft replica. Let them have fun. Hell, as a Metal Gear Solid super-fan, I am currently working on painting my Vietnam m16 to look like the XM16E1 from Snake Eater. It may look cheesy to those who don't get it, but by no means am I gonna let them ruin my fun. All that matters is that the owner likes it and gets a kick out of it. Too many times have I seen people on this forum telling others what is and is not acceptable for their guns, or that their paint schemes are not "MILSIM enough." Why do you care? It's not your replica, so move on. Thank you, I am done ranting.

Thank you grizzly, Snafu, and Miles and honest to god I love my guns the way they are so I'll do what I want with them and O-zone you can buy cheap paint but it won't last and quality won't be as good and I have never nor will I ever charge someone for something like a paint job and I'm not lashing out or being a dick I'm simply stating this and O-zone I've already graduated with an associates because my school allowed me to work my ass off and graduate early and I am now currently working my ass off even harder to be a firefighter to save lives so I'm sorry if that didn't make sense earlier and I love this sport soooo much so please if you like it too don't be a dick and I know not all of you are trying to be but those that are trying please stop being like that to people when you're a fellow enthusiast of airsoft and guys I know you all are great guys on the field so why be this way in the forums? and I'm sorry if I come off as being an dick or as an asshole I just love this sport as much as the next guy in here so let's just cut this out? and knief if you like you can delete this thread. P.S. Snafu I love that idea I think I'll try that with my next project!

Spartan,
I'll lock this up. But have another warning and the accompanying 7 day ban for a 75% warning level. When you come back, your next warning will result in a permanent ban. But also, chill bro. A couple of guys didn't like your gun and a couple of guys did. It's not the end of the world. You're never going to please everybody. If that's all you're trying to do, you're going to spend a lot of time working toward an impossible goal. If you're not, then just let the criticism roll off your back and move on. It doesn't matter if O-Zone does or doesn't like your gun because he's not carrying it around all day. So either take the criticism in stride with the praise, or don't post your guns up for everybody to see on a public forum.
