Just wanted to say thank you to the Hellfish, Action PB, and all the players that showed up and played well on this very, very hot day. The games were run well despite the extreme heat and amount of different camouflage patterns. Knief, you ran the the games really well and prevented a lot of down time. People leaving and taking breaks is not definitely not the host's fault, blame the heat. You were a great host and seemed to make everyone feel welcomed. I had a great time rushing that castle and defending. I ended up puking once from heat exhaustion, which sucked, but didn't hold me back haha. Whoever was the guy with a Masada and ACU, good job, I had a blast shooting with you. I saw some players do some amazing things, even in the heat. Fish, let's see some pictures when you get the chance. @payapa, get your buddy to upload those videos.

Knief: These flash-bangs suck........ *BOOM* Had a great day. One of the best days at No Limits/A.P. ever. O-Zone and I were the ones that went through the side of the pond. That water felt really good after being in the blistering heat. I'm really excited to see those pictures. I saw a lot of teamwork today, at least with the guys I was playing with. Great game, and if anyone finds a large plastic grey cap, I lost it. It goes to the bottom of one of my Thunder B flash-bangs.

Both times you said "These things suck" The "Flashbangs" blew up, that was priceless. Also the team-work between our small squads was great. Always love having a team (squad) that knows what they are doing, and able to infiltrate the enemy territory effectively. Edit: Also the green team got wrecked (just like last time), how are you going to lose the attacking side of the castle games? AAAAAANNND we got rushed by Tan team when they were defending the castle, that's just embarrassing. But oh well, I still had fun, looking forward to the next games. Also last AP game, a lot of people complained of cheating really badly, I personally didn't have a problem at that game, but I didn't hear a lot of complaining today, so it looks like a lot more people were being honest, playing fair, and having fun today.

I agree with almost everything you said. It was awesome taking green team by surprise and wiping out almost their entire team before getting taken out.
I also want to thank the two guys that helped me off the field. Gunny I know one was you and the other guy I'm sorry I never got your name.
Maybe next time Action Paintball knowing that a hole keeps re-appearing will at least inform players, mark the spot in question and fill it properly. Unacceptable to just take a free ride on your waiver.
The arrogance and ignorance of the Action Paintball staff needs to be addressed before I will ever attend another event at this place.
Once again: Players are great and The Hellfish did a great job!

My second ever game at no limits and I feel it was the better of the two. But I had to leave at like 2 :/ I only wish I could have played a game with o-zone's bomb, did you guys end up doing a game with it? But the VIP game ended in total failure....mostly because the owner wouldn't let them walk across the open field, but everything else went great thanks to knief. Do another game soon!

It's actually Traphic's bomb, I just helped him make it. Also we didn't use it probably because it doesn't have a great in game system yet. Once we get a better timer and possibly air horns for the refs next to the bomb site, it'll be of some use.

Technically it's my bomb, but O-Zone did help make it. We didn't end up using it in a game. It needs a better timing system in it for it to really work well with so many people. Edit: O-Zone beat me to it. ^

Yeah it seemed both teams worked really great today. I didn't see too many people just sit and spray, even the noobs were moving around - makes a much more exciting and interesting game when everyone is moving. Great play.

Hey everyone. Had a blast (literally). Games were fun, and I only encountered on instance of severe no-hit calling, but it was probably because I was nailing the thickest part of the gear, and didn't want to be a dick and aim for the only exposed area on the neck, so I let it slide.
Also, I have a proposition:
I notice when someone gets hit, they do not immediately yell hit, or signal in any way that they are hit. Sometimes, they just get up and casually walk back (I'm just as guilty),or just sit there and expect the shooter to realize that he/she has been hit, like nothing happened, and attract more attention and coincidentally they get lit up by the people who previously got them out, then rage ensues and bad tempers yada yada...
So, I propose a new hit-calling protocol. IMO, the most ideal protocol would be as follows: 1)Player is hit 2)Yells "HIT" like normally. 3)Waves some sort of cloth or kill rag, anything that will get attention to signal that the player has been hit, NOT just their arms or gun, but something noticeable like a yellow shegmagh or red bandana. 4)Player must sit down or crouch while he/she waves the signal object for a period of time (no less than two minutes or so) in the same spot he/she has been hit, to let ANY other nearby players that there is a downed player in the area. 5)The downed player now has the security knowing that he/she won't walk into crossfire by hastily exiting the field. 6)The downed player moves back to respawn after the action in the area has settled down, and has given any nearby players their location to avoid crossfires and "dead" hits.
Basically, it gives players time to recognize that there is a dead player in their vicinity.
Just a thought. I thought it would be more realistic, and safer, to have downed players not suddenly respawn like new born rabbits, though still keep the pace of the game up to tempo.
If any one objects, feel free to do so. It does sound kind of stupid, though, but hey it was just a suggestion.

I had another great game today as usual. There were a few firsts today, I have never seen that few Hellfish, Miles is a winner and got us to charge the green team, and my Thunder-B blew up in my hand. I still had a great game but only two complaints one was an incident of blind firing and the other was hit calling, sorta. Best part of the game was when Miles and I stormed the castle with pistols. (I was the kid with the ACU, CB RRV, and the P226.)

A VERY great game overall, but I did see one or two instances of players not calling their hits. Other than that though, no cheating(that I saw). The first capture the flag game, I didn't know where our flag was until somebody took it. The VIP game was not that good, I was sitting at the castle and Shanker was so bored that he pulled out his phone and started messing with it! The games were run well, but having to restructure teams three times was a huge pain. I wished we could have played a game with the bomb. I was pissed that we had to sign waivers again, and I never got a waiver card. I met some cool people, and I had the best pose in TehG3A3's last picture . A big thanks goes out to the three Hellfish that came. Great job guys.

Here are all of the pictures I took today, unedited. A warning, I was doing a lot more tinkering with my camera's settings today, so some of the pictures are a little washed out, but most are pretty decent. s295.photobucket.com/albums/mm140/Kniefjdl/No%20Limits%207-10-11/I thought games went very well today, with the VIP game being the exception. It was good in theory, but Action Paintball needs to figure out a solid boundary system and stick to it. If it were up to me, I'd invest in a lot of netting and separate off the safe zone. We'll see what we can get them to do. Sometimes it gets frustrating to work with somebody else's rules, especially when they're not as organized and concrete as you'd like to see. If we had control of the field, this kind of stuff wouldn't happen. As it stands, the best we can do is try to stick to their variable rules as much as possible and apologize to you all when our games clash with their whims. The No Limits staff has been great to work with previously, so hopefully this is more of a blip and less of the start of a pattern. Otherwise, I thought everything went very smoothly. The hit calling problem from last game almost entirely vanished, which was great to see. I only saw one person slip with the goggles, it was well after game play had stopped, and he dropped them back down before I even had the chance to say anything to him. With the heat how it was, I was impressed with everybody in that regard. As for the bomb, we had a game planned out for it, but it involved the whole field. After the cluster fuck at the beginning of the VIP game, I didn't want to take our chances with another full field game today. We will get the bomb in, hopefully next game (probably early-mid August). It's been a busy summer for some of the Hellfish, so it's been a struggle to get a large number of us out to games like these. Hell, Arc, Ghast and Sharky all had last minute commitments come up to keep them from making it out today. It makes it a little bit tougher, but we've all been working at No Limits for so long, keeping games moving there are getting close to effortless (aside from the heat, which is always brutal on days like today). Thank you all for coming out and making the game as good as it was. Without all of you staying classy and involved, our games would be nothing. And like always, if there's anything we can do to improve game play for you, just let us know and we'll do our best to incorporate it.
