Same here!
While the build quality isn't up to par with other gas weapons I've handled the pure power, speed and SOUND definately make up for it.
When the weather warms up again and our GBB's can be used with less trouble I sure do not want to be on the receiving end of that micro uzi.

It will be an evil gun out doors. On the subject though, how similar is the 93R to the micro-uzi. A friend of mine is planning on getting one, and I figured some of you guys could through in your two cents. (i am poor) I have nothing else to say

i'm going to assume you're talking about the KWC 93R.
i wouldn't get the 93R...i'd go for the 18. when the 93R's mag gets too cold, it discharges all it's gas and you're screwed out of gas and left with an empty gun...
the guy who was showing me the G18 and the 93R....this happened...and he was all embarrassed...told me it happened all the time....

I don't even know which one he is getting. Are there different brands?

Aye, there are.
Bigmack goofed, I'm sure he meant to say KSC. And the other company that makes a 93R is Omega. Airsoft Atlanta sells Omega 93R's w/ stock for $119. Not a bad price at all compared to the KSC versions, but with the lower price will come lower quality.
Search the ASZ forums for reviews.

;D Glad you guys liked the little beast, I have nothing else to say. I think it would make a sweet CQB weapon, but I would need a couple more mags for that to be feasible, since it chews through BBs so fast. The cheapest I've seen the Maruzen mags is around $40, and that's from overseas Oh and speaking of mags, I wonder if Ballista knows that Tapco has M11 mags for $19.99! each...

Aye he knows, but I think he wants to use his money on something else. If I was him though I'd go for those mags right away, at that price ye can't lose. Are ye listening Ballista? You have $50!..get 2!

Yep. BTW, Hado, when Sean Connery said "Rapists for 200", what did it really say?

In response to the 93R question:
Thet are great. I haven't had any problems with the gas running out of the clip. The M93R has a lot of potential for upgrades, and it is a lot more powerful than the G18. It also comes with a 6" barrel and 40 round mags. Very heavy and very solid. It is a lot better than the micro uzi. RedWolf considers the M93R the "Cadillac" of gas guns.
Whatever you do don't get the Omega 93R! It is sh!t. Parts on the gun have a tendancy to break and the performance (FPS) is a lot less than it's Japanese counterpart. The only good Taiwanese gas guns I think are the KWC's.

Aye, I have only seen the compact Ar-15 but there are people at ASZ that will swear on their life that KWC has a full Armalite/colt series of gas rifles. If that is true then I would get the M4... oooor well a M16A2. As for Gas vs. AEG, out of the box gas is no doubt superior... sure you can upgrade a AEG, but what’s stopping you from upgrading a gas gun? sorry for digging up an old thread... but i found this on KWC's website... www.kwc.com.tw/a0701.htmllooks like an M-16A1, M-16A2, and XM-177 to me....

The beretta 93R is ok, if you dont mind carrying around a butt ugly gun. I would doubt that its more powerful than a Glock 18, which are renowned for their power and reliability. Micro uzi maybe, because they are kinda junk guns, but overall id rather have any auto gas pistol before a 93.
