I've been on the fence about picking up a timberwolf. I'm not a huge Glock fan, but I really like that one. It's a very well-performing GBB pistol.

FAL reminds me of Ghast's old wooden G3. Wonder where that's at now.

- DBoys AK-74U, with PBS-4 suppressor and AK sling - SADF Pattern 83 chest rig - ESS Profile goggles, with spare lenses - custom modded M81 combat shirt, USGI BDU top sleeves, DriFire baselayer and #10 YKK zipper After I became fed up with my issued BDU top I ordered a #10 YKK zipper, milspec Velcro and a DriFire baselayer to sew myself a combat shirt. It is nowhere close to being as refined as Crye's product but it will do. I will provide better pictures upon request.

I have an old M81 BDU that I'd love to turn into a combat shirt.

I don't think that I'm entirely comfortable making this a regular deal yet. I just began sewing not too long ago and this project took me much longer than it should have because I was mostly testing the waters. I may do the same with a DCU shirt in the future and if I feel comfortable enough with my work then I may begin taking commissions. I've been looking at Crye modding a pair of DCU pants however so that may be in the works soon... Snarf - It wasn't very expensive. I already have the tools that I need to stitch/sew. The DriFire shirt was $25 on eBay and the Velcro not much more. The YKK zipper was $10-12. The most irritating part of the project was moving the pockets for me but other than that it was more meticulous than anything.

I'm even willing to pick up some BDU's.

I was just curious about the process since it might be something I would do myself. And if you do the pants, are you going to do the whole integrated kneepad thing? That would be awesome.

I edited my post with some minor details. I am going to go for the integrated kneepads, yes. I already have a pair that I can study and I have a blueprint that a buddy gave me to study. The only issue here will be getting the stretch material from Crye's supplier.
