I do not recommend having your gun repaired by ASGI. It took 2 months to get my SCAR back and it didn't even come back performing properly. They fixed most of the problems, but they didn't fix the biggest problem of all, my jamming and multi-feeding. They lost my package in their store, and took a long time to find it. Finally I opened a claim with UPS and they started breathing down ASGI's necks about finding the package, so I finally had it found, took 3 days for the repair service, and 4 days to ship. Overall their repair service is horrible. Probably will never have them repair something again for me.

To update on the issue, Airsoft GI did reply back to my request to re-repair the rifle. They are paying for everything, so I guess that's a plus. I will update again once I get the gun back and if it works 100%. But if you don't want to deal with this type of situation, I wouldn't even bother sending it to them for repairs.

Another update:
Airsoft GI sent me the gun back again, I opened up tonight and found out that my "Safe" selection mode was a little loose. So I plugged the battery in and pulled the trigger, to my surprise (sarcasm) the gun fired. Hm, it's on safe but shoots? Great fix ASGI. I don't even know if my multi-feed problem was fixed at all because of this ridiculous problem. Also when I sent in my Mid-Cap to help them recreate my situation to help give them ideas about why it's jamming, I get a PoS Hi-Cap back. Like really? How hard is it to.. -ends rant before I get too mad-
Overall don't have ASGI repair anything of yours.

Uh, why would you send it to ASGI when there are local people?

Due to insurance on the gun?

Uh, why would you send it to ASGI when there are local people? I plan on using locals now. I heard a few great things from asgi's repair service so I thought I'd try them. But that won't happen again. Another update: ASGI agreed to take it back and replace any broken parts for free and return my mid-cap. Final try with these guys before I take it to another level.

Maybe if you weren't in the pond so much, you wouldn't have these problems!

Maybe if you weren't in the pond so much, you wouldn't have these problems! Well actually, I've never taken my scar through the pond. I haven't even fielded it but one time which was at my local field. After that it started going to hell. On another note, even when I go through the pond my gun was never submerged once.

I know man, I'm just messing with you here.
A lot of times, I'll just get a lemon of a gun. Can't do a thing about it. Other times, I get a gun that just doesn't seem to want to break. Just luck of the draw I guess.
Anyways, I hope your Issue gets resolved.

I'm considering re-posting it back up in the commerce section after I get it fixed. Let someone else who knows more about the gun than I do have it and be able to fix the problems. Also, it's a VFC ;D. That should be the answer to all the problems I'm having with it.

Yeah, I hear 'ya. Sometimes, It seems like the less you spend on a gun, the less problems you have $140 G&G Combat Machine > $350 G&P Sentry. Yeah, I cried.

I have the same M4, and my SCAR is worth over $600 in attachments/internals/and its stock wealth, and the Combat Machine M4 I own, (completely stock) outdoes my SCAR in so many ways. Gotta love that. I know exactly how you feel.

It's not the cheaper the gun the better it will be, it's because your buying a g&g.

I've gotta go with biz on this one. G&G is establishing themselves as the top airsoft manufacturer in the American market today. Other guns may have better looks (G&P), come with more accessories (VFC), be more reliable (TM), or be priced more cheaply (clones, but only sort of), but none of them are putting all of those qualities together as well as G&G. You just can't go wrong with them these days.
