It was my first "real" game, I had tons of fun. Definitely coming to the next game. And about the shooting through the corners, not trying to throw you under the bus kneif, but I was the one standing next to you when you said, "look I can shoot through the cracks, watch me @$&! With him." Lmao...

I enjoyed the game a ton and cannot wait until the next one. Great job again Hellfish. KeineZeit, although I didn't see all this cheating you mention, it's as simple as yelling don't shoot through the cracks after getting shot and not going out. I know Robby got hit a ton through them while playing castle and thats exactly what he was doing. P.S. Anyone have a copy of the group photo? I'd love to have one. -Dan Agree with Dan here. If you get shot through the crack, from blind fire, or from ricochet, is as simple as just not calling it because they were breaking the rules. After all, airsoft is just a game and stuff like that should not ruin your day. EDIT: I saw a few instances of kids playing with their goggles completely off (like mounted over their head). I had to politely remind someone who was doing just that. The heat really did fog me up bad and had to exit the field just to wipe it down, but then I removed the vent covers and everything was ok from there on. I don't think this will ever be a problem again, as long as the weather stays dry and humidity low. Really, guys, lets not take this topic too far. Safety protocol is important, and especially for new players, will come with experience. Additionally, if you want to avoid fog, it would be in everyone's best interest to invest in good quality eye protection with proper ventilation or even some anti-fog fluid. When it comes to eye protection, don't cheap out! EDIT 2: I am astonished about some of the responses on this thread. I don't understand why some players are so frustrated over these little cheating instances. It happens. Inevitably, it will happen to you, and should be dealt with accordingly. However, I do agree that non-hit calling and lame crack shots are quite annoying and denigrate the game play, but don't let it ruin the experience of airsoft. You are out here to play and get along. Not fight. Although the impulse exists, just let it go. Throw a friendly reminder, or best of all, get even.

Very hot, decided to ditch the BDU top. Decent overall, except the excessive amount of cheating I was seeing from the green team, I was really surprised that the refs didn't catch the garbage that was going on. No offense hellfish. I was on green team, and I think the reason there was a lot of "cheating", is because we had a lot of younger players and they don't always play by the rules, I'm not saying ALL young players don't play by the rules, but a lot of the inexperienced ones are at fault, as KOKO said, be sure to bring it up with a ref they'll talk to the players about it and try resolve the situations. Also a lot of times it's hard to know if you got hit if you're in a full out run or something of that sort, so they may not have known they got hit, so they may not be intending on cheating, but just didn't realize they've been hit. Edit: On a game related note, the games were pretty fun. Had a great time as usual. Best game had to be when A1 and I snuck around the Tan team spawn and took out about 3, two man squads on the way through. Sadly we made it to their spawn point and the whistle goes, but it was still pretty bad a**. Definitely going to be returning to No Limits for more games, I've been there a total of 3-4 times and never had a bad time, and for a REC game, that's pretty damn awesome.

The other big problem with newer players is that they take deaths personally, and not as an inevitable part of the game. Especially at a rec game at Action Paintball, we're going to do our best to make sure everyone gets their money's worth and everyone is playing as much as possible. Respawn rules for most games are super lax just so you can come back in and get more trigger time. You spawn and go off right and get hit? Respawn and try going left. Or respawn and try teaming up with players you don't know. Oddly enough, that's a great way to find friends on the field and potentially even start a team.
We're glad that people are enjoying what we're doing though. Besides cheating and goggles (which sadly we can't always eliminate at games) what else did you see that we can either tweak to make better, completely change, or even eliminate so that you guys are having the most fun out there?

I didn't like playing with a paintball mask, but you probably can't control that. For anyone wondering, I was the kid with SIG550, mtn dew shirt, jeans, and a black crossdraw, and always being the first one out .

I saw a few instances of goggles that I dealt with very swiftly. You know who you are, don't do it again.

And about the shooting through the corners, not trying to throw you under the bus kneif, but I was the one standing next to you when you said, "look I can shoot through the cracks, watch me @$&! With him." Lmao... I'll have you know that I was hitting that crack from 70 feet away across the moat. Hitting an inch wide gap at that kind of range is just good shooting. It was pureoxygen from the Suicide Kings in the tower. I told him later that it was me and I was just fucking with him and we had a good laugh. I didn't see a whole lot of cheating myself, but I'm definitely sorry to see it happen. Somebody brought it up already, but definitely try to come find me if you can and I'll grab the offender and let him know he's fucking up. There were a few newer players out to this game, and many of them were young. I think that's what contributed to the problem this game compared to the very few complaints about cheating that we usually get. What really bugged me yesterday were the flagrant goggle violations. This was the first game at No Limits that I ever had to kick somebody out of. I hate doing that because everybody is just out to have a good time. But just like Kurt said, I'm not willing to risk losing this field because somebody's fogging up. I'm also not willing to put the rest of the players in a position where they might shoot another player in the eye. I've said it before, but I can't imagine the guilt somebody would feel if they permanently blinded another player, even if it was the now-blind guy's fault. I didn't see anybody playing with their goggles off, but just like with cheating (and really, even more so) please please please come find me and I'll take care of it. Good for anybody who told those guys to put their goggles back on. Self-policing is one of the best ways to tame cheating and unsafe play. But if those kids are taking their eye protection off in game, then they're not ready to be playing. I'd rather see them back in the parking lot than looking for the next opportunity to remove the goggles when nobody's around.

Kneif summed it up well. Tl;DR, don't cheat; you'll not only ruin the game for yourself, but for others.
Now, where can we find that group picture that the lady took of us?

Got quite a few kills with an M93r. I saw a few instances of cheating, where I lit a dude up, and he looked around, didn't see me, and just kept playing. I could understand if it was MAYBE a ricochet, but it wasn't. It was a 10 shot full-auto burst to this dudes back, and I saw/heard them impact. I heard other people bitching about nobody calling hits, but that was my only personal instance. What really got me was the mosquitoes. Not fun. Overall, it was a good day. I think I'm not alone (cough Knief cough) when I say I'd LOVE to have a dry game. Moisture makes bugs. Bugs make me unhappy. I met a lot of friendly people though, and that DID make me happy. For those of you who didn't know, I was the one with the cutoff jeans and the pink headband. It also says "Fugazi" on the side of my gun, and that's kinda a dead give-away. At any rate. Good job as usual Hellfish, keep throwing events up, and I'll keep coming. And thank you Knief for letting me play with your PTW.

Thanks to everyone who made it out. There were some new rules put in place but it seemed that everyone tried to make the best out of it. Overall it seemed like everyone still had a good time and I don't doubt that everyone got their moneys worth.
Thanks to the new owners who opened early and stayed late for us. Great idea cooking up hot dogs for lunch and selling them for practically nothing. Also I heard that burgers will be on the menu for the next game.
We had a lot of first time players there which explains the cheating but it doesn't make it right. We will make sure to stress the hit calling in future games especially to those newer players.
We'll certainly keep the games coming as long as you guys want to come out and play. There are some good things planned for the future including some night games, and winter games where we would have access to the entire field without having to share with paintballers.
As far as that group photo, the owners said that they will be creating a facebook page so you can see the photo once that is up and running. Also the no limits web site is getting a makeover so it'll probably end up there eventually as well.

Had an overall great time. Met some cool people.
Cheating was present and it sucked but I'm guessing there is at least some amount at each game.
Highlight of the day was helping green team storm the castle with just a 1911 and no gear.
Please someone post the group picture. I would like to see mine and KeineZeit's sexy tactical slide pose.

I agree with a1 on the TWO flags, we did the sattalite(?) a while ago and it was way too easy on the left side.
And I will FOR SURE come to night and winter games. But if it's a night game try to do it on Fridays or Saturdays because a lot of us have school.
