I posted this question on the AO forums but havent gotten a response since last night. So I was wondering if any of you guys know where I can get a Makarov GBB or a CZ75 GBB? I like my SIG I just dont know if its what I'm looking for in a sidearm.

I haven't seen any Makarovs, but I think a CZ75 2nd edition would be great. It would add character to an image. I think that too many airsofters carry DE's and 93R's. In truth, no real soldier or cop would carry a $2,000 pistol. A CZ or Colt would give a more rugged or honest look.
You can pick up a CZ75 2nd Edition at Den for about $110.

$900? Would this be a street dealer or your cousin in the mob?
The retail price is $2,000 on a rat-flail. A Mk.23 is also 2 grand, did you know that a P7 is $1,700?
A Beretta isn't that expensive, but it has a long 5+" barrel and doesn't conceal very well. That why a lot of cops go with a G19, P228, or a G17.
I just find it funny that "terrorists" would use weapons such as a MP5SD, PSG-1, or 93R. These weapons are top military spec and that wouldn't fall into everybody's hands. High-end military weaponry shouldn't be common in airsoft. That's why more people should buy the CZ's and Colt's.

I've been wanting to get me a CZ75 for a while now, so most likely it'll be my next GBB purchase. Unless the new Maruzen line up really surprises me, I'll get the GBB Skorpion.
Back when I was about 5 or so my dad would have his CZ75 with him all the time, so I got to hold it a couple of times. Really a beautiful weapon and I absolutely NEED it for my collection.
I could be wrong but I believe Hudson made a Makarov pistol, from what I read it wasn't very reliable.
**could be mistaken with who made it, research it yourself**

I disagree, when people play airsoft the majority play as if they were Navy Seals, Rangers, Delta operatives etc. I do think the more common weapons should be produced but people should buy what they want for the role they want to imitate. Me personally, I am a SEMTEX operative, elite of the elite! 8)

Sorry, no Makarov GBBs, but pick up a copy of Shotgun News, because you can pick up a real steel version for $110.
Oh, Ed, where did you get those prices from? I'm sure if you just look around, you can find Desert Eagles for $1200. I checked the actual price at Target Sports in Royal Oak. If you look around some more, you can get them for even cheaper. I know where to get one for $650. The MK23 is quite costly, but there are places to get them for a slightly reduced price of $1700, although it doesn't happen often. Sometimes CDNN Investmemnts(www.cdnninvestments.com) has guns for real cheap. Just download their catalog and check. HK P7 M8s are going for $1200 in my area, and about $700 for a refurbished gun. Of course, better deals can be found by searching around.
Many cops use the Glocks and SIGs because they lack a manual safety. Most departments assume their officers are stupid when it comes to guns, therefore, they issue them Glocks and SIGs. This is cops don't carry 1911s anymore, only elite forces such as HRT and FBI, etc. who go through lots of weapons training. All guns that do have manual safeties are usually carried without them on.
Concealment is not a factor with cops unless they are off duty. According to the September/October issue of American Handgunner:
15 States issue a S&W
12 States issue a SIG
11 States issue a Glock
11 States issue a Berretta
1 State issues a Ruger
1 State issues an HK

first, deagles are gas operated rifles that just so happen to be handheld. I have nothing else to say. the usp tactical is over 2,000, and it is special forces issue. btw, my cousin got a .50 ae rat-flail, nickel, for $500, but it was part of a package.

I can get a .50 rat-flail new...for 900.. Mark 23 Socom USP for 2070...but good luck finding one...even the H&K distributers don't have them right now....they're waiting on more from Germany. Personally, i'd go for a custom .45 1911. or maybe this real sweet STTI .40 S&W 1911 i was looking at just today... 1650 for a pistol, tho... it is competition grade, tho... but...my favorite pistols have always been Beretta's... 92's, 96's...alllll pretty to me... ;D

It is really easy to drop over 2 grand on a 1911. Everybody and thier uncle has a special custom. You can upgrade every part. Just look in the back of a Gun magazine, there are adds about all types of 1911 crap.
I would get a Sig. It accually scored higher on the government Sidearm test (better than the M-9) but because of cost ($750 a piece), they went with the Italians. That's why FBI and other government agencies go it...also: 17 round special mag available only to non-civilians. Theres only one problem: it's ugly.
Oh yeah, that's not my opinion. The gun IS ugly. Thank you
