Try Using the old springs, Just use pliers to put a new end on them.

Never throw anything away. Spare parts are rare parts.

You can just use pliers and curl the end into a new spring end to fasten onto the crossbar of the trigger box.

Alright, the biggest problem I ran across was the friction in the trigger box itself. I'm working with a VSR, but I assume the MK96 is at least similar in design, when the trigger gets pulled in the VSR design, the piston sear drops forward pushing an assembly in the trigger box backwards. The spring that pulls that assembly back the battery snapped. I replaced it with another spring from inside the trigger box (less vital area, replaced that spring with the closest fit from Ace) the problem I then ran into was that the assembly created way too much friction in the trigger box. It's a sort of |_| shape with that shape changing to \_\ when the trigger is pulled. The crossbars go through at the top of each post, the spring mounts at the bottom of the rearmost post. If there's any chance you could take a picture of the inside of your trigger box for me around that part so I can see the ordering of the parts in that area, I would be much obliged.
