First of all, I'd just like to thank Mirage and Blindshot for a great time. It was a lot of fun to get back out and sling some plastic with everyone. Even with the weather being as it was, I still had a blast. The tan team may have been out numbered, but that just means we got more people to shoot ;D. My biggest qualm was that not enough people used dead rags; it's hard to tell whose been hit and who hasn't sometimes. But anyway, like I said, I had a great time.

Thanks guys for a great op! I had a blast (except for getting chewed out by a lady for playing airsoft and making something of myself to join the military. guess what lady I already did.) The weather may have sucked but I personally thought it made the game even better. I tried to stay as dry as possible.. but that lasted a whole 20 min before I fell into the creek. Tan team: you guys were fun to play against. Green Team: Guys we need more kill rags. I ended up ripping mine apart to give to people. Bring your own. Well I would dare to guess I was the muddiest person at the end of the op. But it was all in good fun. Thanks again for a great op guys. looking forward to some more from you gents. oh and Noah. you dented my helmet..
I thought I saw someone taking pictures. post?

Great job planning the game, Blindshot and Mirage! I especially liked the spawn system, because I got much more play time in, and also the that the village was off-limits in the first part. It was seriously cold and wet out, but I aggree with Scooter that it made the game better. I also feel like I performed much better than I did at previous games. Tan team, ya'll were awesome and good game. Green team, way to be aggressive! I haven't played on many fields, but Hole-in-the-Wall is definitely my favorite now. I look forward to seeing the legendary grass this summer!

Alright, well first off, I want to thank everyone that battled the weather forecast and showed up. We didn't get the turnout that we expected, but we still had a pretty good showing. The first half of the day was pretty awesome and went pretty close to how we saw it playing out. There was a lot of movement, firefights, communication, and it sounded like there was a lot of action. We are glad that you liked the respawn system that we used, it was the first time we have applied it to one of our events and since we didn't hear any complaining about it, it is likely something we'll use in our other ones.
The second half of the day went alright, just because we saw it playing out differently than it did and had to make changes on the fly to try and make everything flow smoothly. All in all, we enjoyed hosting again and appreciate the effort that you guys put into the scenarios. It was great seeing all of the familiar faces and meeting the new ones. Thanks Canto for letting us host and everyone else once again for battling the weather and making this event a fun one.

I had a great time at this event and it definitely ranks as one of the best that I have attended.
The inclement weather and the resulting lower turnout actually made the Bangor field much more playable. From the get-go, the tan team was able to maneuver along both ridges without running into insurmountable bottlenecks of opposition. As anyone who has frequented Bangor knows, these bottlenecks form in many places and tend to lock games into attritional slugging matches. Having the lower turnout avoided these issues and I frequently found myself being able to range all over the field to take advantage of opportunities to flank and attack from the rear (as several people on the green team in the village found out near the game's ending).
This was my first event using comms, and despite my previous reticence to use radios, they really did help in coordination as well as add to the "milsim" feel of the event.
I thought the objectives were well thought out and the way that they were set as a binary system (green needed bomb making components to make bombs, tan needed bomb making components to keep green from making bombs) made things work quite smoothly.
Limiting access to the village was a great decision and really forced both teams to make use of features that rarely get played (the mod tower and the smaller brush village/bunkers in the central valley).
I would have liked to have seen more depth in regards to the role players. I never entered the city (not being a commander) and so I never interacted with anyone.
Blindshot and Mirage both did a good job briefing the teams and making sure that everyone understood what was going on. I liked the fact that each team got an individualized briefing and that each team was walked onto the field by a moderator.
The respawn system was definitely something new and seemed to work fairly well, although I can envision issues arising if the number of players were increased.
I did not really encounter any issues with cheating, although I know that there were some issues with people not feeling hits on their gear and equipment especially when the tan team rushed the airfield towards the end of the day's first half. Overall, everyone maintained a sportsman like attitude and I saw several instances where players who had hit one another simultaneously (or close enough for there to be the potential for disagreement) agree that they would both be "out."
Overall, an excellent effort from Mirage and Blindshot and I can say that I am looking forward to their next effort.
Lastly, I had a great time playing with the OneShotOneMiss Crew.
See you all April 30th.

Yea good pics man. Anyway, first off thanks Canto and gang for having us! Mirage and Blindshot- It was good to see you guys again. Been a while... Great work on running the Op. Pretty good work for a couple 'has beens.' Hope to see you guys later this year and yall need to run another Op soon. We should talk about maybe running a game together... Green team, thanks for dealing with me as your CO. I had a blast and enjoyed working with everyone. Tan team, it was a pain to fight you guys. Seems like everything I tried you guys were quick to cut it down! Great seeing everyone! Edit- Thanks Thor for fixing Blindshot's pictures. I was going to say something, but I forgot..

First of all, I would like to apologize for the delay in posting this... I would like to thank everyone who decided to brave the rain, wind, and generally cold and miserable weather to make it to this game. The players I did see however, were ballsy enough to make the drive and didn't disappoint on the field either. I saw a lot of tough players who didn't give up their ground and were not afraid to take those objectives. I hope everyone enjoyed the slippery and muddy slopes of Bangor in April. Mirage, Blindshot, and the RAGE guys; thank you so much for hosting this event as well as giving me a little bit of trigger time. Note: At around 6:00 PM on Saturday, it was snowing/sleeting in Bangor...
