Is anyone else excited for some castle defense games? YES. I can't wait to try out my new rifle as well. This is gonna be sick. -Dan Can't wait to get shot by it. What camo are you planning on wearing?

... As pie. Is anyone else excited for some castle defense games? We should think of some new game types as well to keep things interesting. If you have any ideas, let us know. We like the staples, but we're always up for trying something new. At this point, we'll do anything simple enough to organize on the fly.

Except no one knows where the flag(s) is. So its like each team has to cover as most ground as possible in limited time.

suggestion : After the first 5 minutes of the game, the ref begins counting off in 2-3 minute intervals. After every one of these 2-3 minute intervals, anyone who is dead may respawn. The ref can announce this via megaphone or just yelling. The setting is for non-fort games.
Also, when can we expect this proposed game to show up in the event section?

The game on the 23rd is a go. Expect an actual event thread to be posted soon.

My Saturday is free. I will try to make it, along with trying for 4-5 more.

So its like they come in waves? That sounds pretty cool, but its not much different than the basic total elimination. We should also organize a bomb game or a sniper-hunt. When well prepared, man-hunt games/VIP games are a blast.

At the last MTAC game, the group split off into 4 teams, around 10 people each I believe. Then for the first few games it was one team vs another team to get things going with smaller games.
If we did something similar at no limits, we could keep all the teams going at once with the different field sections available. example would be: A vs B at the castle C vs D in the big hill field E vs F in the smaller tall grass field (the one behind the stage area)
assuming enough people are there to run the event this could rotate around 2-3 times with big games intermixed.
just my thoughts and ideas. I tend to not like huge numbered castle games. With a smaller group it seems more intense and not so one sided.

Does No Limits allow play on several fields at once?

Yeah, we routinely link some of the larger adjacent fields together when they're available. We have to split field time with paintballers, but depending on the weather sometimes that's not really a problem. If those multiple fields are open at the same time, we could look at splitting the group and running two games at once, then rotating.
