I went out to the field yesterday with Canto and a few helpers and cut down a ton of grass with a weed wacker and carved paths through it with a machete. The grass is all at least 6 ft high with some high sections and we are cutting several paths through it to help make it easier to travel through the lake bed. Several of the bridges were knocked out due to erosion and high water levels this spring, but we've cleared paths to the new locations of the bridges and are working on a path that follows the bank of the creek as well.
I'm getting pretty excited for this game, can't wait to see you all out there! Oh, and expect a few pictures to be posted as soon as Canto sends me them from his camera.

I'll be prepaying me and my brother Mad Dog on monday.
I might be prepaying for a couple of other friends too I just have to make sure they are going to go.
This event should be a lot of fun. I just wish more people would register for it.

I just wish more people would register for it. I'm sure more will register next week.. Last event I went to at bangor the number of guys was pretty low all the way up until the week before the event. Plus Tex is known for having sweet games so they know they will be fools to miss out on this! Have you been out there before Vamp? |

Roster updated. Just shy of 40 people. I wouldn't be too concerned with the numbers, the smaller sized games actually tend to be a lot more tactical and more Milsim on this field. Probably my best game hosted had only 25 people who attended, but it made for some really fun and intense game play.
1 more week, can't wait!
