Tali's right, though. The truly elite soldiers have a very wide breadth of discretion in what they use and how they use it. If anyone tries to claim that Delta never use the SOCOM 16, ask them how they got the clearance and prove the need-to-know to obtain a comprehensive list of every weapon ever used by Delta operators. Your interrogator will either admit that they were just trying to be a douche, or will provide their credentials as a former Delta armorer. Should that happen, try to focus on the bright side - your choice of AEG, though inauthentic, has just put you in one of the coolest conversations you may ever have. Zorak, you are the man! And Pariah... I will start on my loadout. What era of SF or Seals should I make my loadout for?

I would still highly suggest getting a proper rifle.
This is the impressions sub-forum, not the, "well, they do what they want, so you can do whatever you want too" sub-forum. That excuse is far too overused, and if that was the case, all of the kids runnings P90's, in M81, trainers and black crossdraws would be the 1337735t motherfuckers this side of Ohio. The general consensus is "pics or it didn't happen", and as you're posting in an impressions sub-forum, I would keep it that way.

I'm largely in agreement with GrinchBiscuit. That's not to say forget the idea, just try and dig up some photos. My suggestion to you would be to do a general google search of the Socom 16 or M14, read up on it. Look at the time it was developed, from there see if it is being reintroduced for any intended reason or another. If this is the case, then find out who is using it and from there search for photos, even if they are hard to find they are out there somewhere. Photo was taken in Iraq, it is claimed.
