I was considering buying this rifle featured on Kapowwe.com. www.kapowwe.com/hybrid-sks-airsoft.htmlIt is the SKS shell ejecting rifle. I already have a nice JG G36c airsoft rifle that I'm relatively content with, but I still think it'd be a neat thing to show around, an airsoft rifle that ejects shells with the pull of a bolt. Now I've never been one for upgrading a gun's internals, but I understand that a lot of these such upgrades are more or less universal and fit in a wide variety of guns. I've always been more interested in the external upgrades. Grenade launchers, sights, lasers, etc. I suppose my real question is on the expansionary opportunities of such a poorly known gun, and I don't see any RIS/RAS rails, so is there any way of making this thing custom? Does anyone have a hunch on whether or not the barrel/stock will fit standard AK47 upgrades? The end looks relatively the same as those on AK series rifles and other Soviet firearms. At the very least, I might do a bit of good ol' fashioned jury rigging: take off the folding bayonet and in its place, on the same swivel hinge, place a laser sight that turns on when flipped outwards. Questions, comments, concerns, or answers to my previous question would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance, Tom

II had 2 of them at one point, and to be brutally honest, you will not be able to upgrade it. Its meant for one reason, to plink around with in the back yard. It has no skirmish ability at all my friend.
So, if you're looking for somthing to shoot around the house/ out back and hang on your wall, its a fun toy. If you planned on actually using it at a game, I would not invest.
Hope that helped!
Edit: kappowee says its sold out.

This should technically go under "aeg" but it's more relevant to post it here. There are these $30 shell ejecting, semi-auto aegs out there. You just plug it into a wall to charge, then put little caps on the rear of the shell. Load a bb into the front, then load like a regular mag. When you shoot, it'll make a "pop" with smoke, and shoot. It's probably terribly inaccurate, and the residue from the cap probably gums the gun up, but for $30... I kinda want one. I'll try to find a link, they're kinda neat. Probably based on a proprietary part system, and probably solid plastic, though. Edit: Found it, I was off on price. I could SWEAR I saw them for $30 though. If you're set on a springer, a Super 9 is an oldschool, and not prefered option due to lack of upgrades and a pretty proprietary part system. topshotairsoft.com/pro1394356.htmlwww.airsofteverything.com/store-products-3171--Super-9-bolt-action-rifle-by-UHC_1094573390.html

I have one of these, its Gen 2... if you get one and want it upgraded contact War Pig... he is working on mine right now. After 6 years of playing with this thing it is finally gonna kill... unless the spring shatters the plastic internals haha oh well at $150 and 6 years it has gotten me enough kills to risk the upgrade
