Just make the ridges out of bounds for this one. Now that would be interesting... In all the games I've attended at Bangor I've never walked across the middle of the field (specifically between the West Village, Mod Tower, and East Village) Is most of that ground firm?

seems like the building would get a lot of action if the ridges were off limits. I'm getting excited for this already:)

Almost all of that area is firm Gunny save for a bit near the base of the Northern ridge. We are hoping to have the man power to dig a drainage canal, but that's a significant amount of labor without a backhoe.
I don't think the ridges will be off limits except for maybe the night game, but that all depends on how much we are able to build up the valley in the coming months.
A final date of July 16 has been set. Player cap is now 60. Price will be $20 prepay only - Everyone who plays, pays, period. Don't care if you have a deal with Canto or not, this is for charity. Raffle tickets will be available at 3 for $5.(More about the prizes as I hear from sponsors). Briefing will be at 15:15, you will take the field at 15:45 and the game will start promptly at 16:00. I am going to be extremely strict on time and on all rules.
More later...

It would be really cool if teams could only wear one type of camouflage since the player cap is pretty small. Say MARPAT vs. ACU or Multicam. It sounds like this is going to be a pretty intense MilSim event that would be all the better with stricter camo requirements.
Heres an idea. What if tracers were some "tech" that you had to unlock by completing a mission during the day in order for your team to use tracers at night. Even if it was something both teams had to find on the field and you were provided with some kind of treasure map/riddle for the location.

Tex, if you need manpower before the event, let me know, I can probably get out for a build day.

Even if it was something both teams had to find on the field and you were provided with some kind of treasure map/riddle for the location. Even though the teams are going to be limited in size for the scope of the game, sometimes I personally think these one camo per teams limit player turn out. Obviously they work for larger organized out of state games (Lion Claw, Breedland, etc), but even playing at night time or dusk I don't think standardized camo patterns are really going to mitigate friendly fire. It's going to happen regardless, unless everyone is walking around with NVG's. The tracer idea I see two problems with personally. 1.) Who's going to provide the tracers? The players, or the event organizer? And at $100 a pop for each one I doubt that's something Tex can round up, unless we cover that cost to play the game. Which would mean like a $120+ entry fee 2.) I know if I have a full time job by then I'm going to buy a tracer unit and glow in the dark ammo exclusively for this game, and if I knew I wasn't going to be allowed to use it until I unlocked it and had to forfeit it, I probably wouldn't end up buying it then. I think tracers should be encouraged as much as possible to have everyone use, because they really help in night games from what I've seen on you tube videos of these large organized "night" skirmishes in other states. I would love to even say that I think they should be a required accessory but because they're not cheap I know that's not exactly feasable and therefore shouldn't be required, but strongly encouraged.
