Well OPERATION: THORN went well, we had a pretty decent turnout, albeit less than I had hoped for. (just shy of 30 this time) Everyone who has given feedback so far has said they had a great time. The Big scenario(SLF vs TRT's) worked out good too, except one time the TRT's got a little trigger happy and iced the terrorist leader, instead of "tasering" him. The extra hour (4 instead of 3) gave us time to run several more games inside and outside. We have an actual working "bomb" to use in a Counterstrike style game. It requires the T's to place and set the device(working switches, trigger relays, lights and digital timer, and countdown beeper!) the CT's then have 5 minutes to fight to the location and "defuse" the device by pulling one of the wires apart (blue or red? ) Everyone liked that one, I think because the time constraint made you move in and not camp. Administratively the event went off pretty smooth also (team assignment, etc, down time, raffle...) As far as I know no one Identified themselves as MiA members. I posted some pictures from the skirmish on the site there is only a few indoor ones due the close range BB fire I was fearing for my digital camera (it's not a beater...yet) Here is the picture link www.wolverinetactical.com/masteridx.htmHope to see some of you at the next one (which I may revise the date due to the Holiday....was set for May 25)
