WHEN: SATURDAY, APRIL 13th
WHERE: M-40 indoor / outdoor paintball field in Holland, MI
TIME: 8:00a - noon (be early so we can get started right at 8am)
COST: $20 includes WTS raffle, entry and paintball mask if needed
The Field:
M-40 consists of an indoor CQB area and an outdoor field the indoor field can hold around 35-40 max (but this does not allow for too much on the tactical side of things. New scenarios have been invented to help in this area.The other part of the M-40 facility is the outdoor field which is about 150 yards long by 100 yards wide, with various / numerous obstacles, bunkers, cars, etc....
We hope the weather will cooperate this time and allow us to use both fields.
RULES:
The Field requires full face protection, i.e: paintball mask or balaclava and ANSI rated Goggles
FPS limits 400fps w/ .20s for all AEG's, Sniper rifles will be allowed up to 500fps but will be limited to a range BEYOND 100 feet.
Barrel plugs, caps or bags will be needed (M-40 was very gracious last time, but lets raise the bar a little, I don't want anyone losing an eye.)
ALL GUNS must arrive and leave in a case or box, NO EXCEPTIONS.
THE SCENARIOS: (storyline...NOT REAL!) .
Operation Thorn: In the past few weeks an extremist terror group calling itself the "Spring Liberation Front" (SLF) has carried out several attacks on the metro area. Recent intel places thier center of operations in an abandoned grainery on the southeast side of the city. Their threats indicate a major terror initiative is about to be unleashed, therefore intervention is required immediately to avert a major disaster. The top TRT's from around the globe have assembled at the staging area to deal with this threat. The leader of the network is rumored to be on site at this time, as well as his elite personal guard unit.
Mission objectives:
OBJECTIVE ALPHA - Eliminate the sentries and entrance guards if possible without alerting the reserve guard located inside the compound to gain entry to the interior.
OBJECTIVE BRAVO - Locate the communications center and secure all documents & equipment
OBJECTIVE CHARLIE - Locate the weapons cache and place C-4 for demolition
OBJECTIVE TANGO - Locate and APPREHEND the terrorist leader with non lethal means
Rules of engagement: weapons free, except the terror leader must be taken alive with non-lethal taser ammo.
