Bernard here. I really wanted to express the amount of fun I had at this event. I felt that the teams were very evenly-balanced throughout most of the game. The variety in game types kept me interested; I don't think I ever found myself bored there today. Both the Green and Tan teams (and human/zombie teams) put up good efforts, but also treated it like a Rec game, so no one really took anything too seriously (albeit there was mature behavior throughout). I don't think there were many problems with fogging goggles, as it was amazingly warm today. I think I'm going to come out and say that I think I felt a hit on my back, but I wasn't sure, so I let it be, although I got smacked in the face a few seconds later. Things that went well: Temperature, behavior, and battery life, along with an amazing Tan team flank in the first round of VIP. Things that need improvement: Ammo usage. I, along with other members, were running out of ammo later in the game. I guess this can't be helped in any way besides people bringing more BBs. I'll make sure to bring a spare bag next time. Oh, and the wind wasn't too friendly, either.

Ugh, didn't get on earlier to start this.
It was apparently 40+ degrees out today.
Everything went well, got to try out new gametypes, meet new players, and sling some plastic.
Thanks to the armory airsoft staff for everything. I'll hopefully have my aks74 by the next time I show up.

This was a good day. We were pleasantly surprised by how well things fell into place all on their own.
First thing, we had a lot of new or unfamiliar players, so that made it refreshing. We had some kids out there who did their very best to keep up, which was encouraging. The teams were balanced in number right off the bat. Green team looked to have been overpowered with carrying all the kids and underpowered newbies, until the rest of green team stepped up to fill the experience gap and just rock all! So it turned out that that too balanced itself out. We got a lot of games in, tried some new ones and spent much more time on the field than usual. Didn't have to correct folks much on taking their goggles and masks off, the kids we expected to forget. But to the one player who gave me the "screw-you-whatever" stare when I corrected you while you stood there giggling in the engagement zone, yeah...you don't need to hurry back.
Yeah, it was technically freezing out there with the snow, melt water and wind but the sun just beat down on us real nice. I myself spent the whole time sweating so hard I couldn't stand to be in the heated pro shop!
Yes, we needed more AMMO! My new P90 was certainly a gas guzzler in this sense. Must have gone through at least 3000 rounds on it's first time out!
Thanks to all you new and young folks who came out.
New P90 tested! Pros: Works as I expected. Look forward to upgrading it a bit. Had better range and accuracy than I expected. You still can tell it's me with the busted silencer. I'm told that this worked out to be a fine suppression weapon. Usually had a long spray between windings. Cons: BB jam after trying to recover from multiple large BB dumps. Conversion kit has a propensity for massive spillage. Trigger stuck pretty bad at one point then worked again just fine, confused. Air nozzle does not want to line up just right with the hop-up when connecting the upper and lower receiver, requiring some coaxing with a tool.

I completely agree on this subject with you guys. I was one if the new players to your field and I have to say that it was fantastic. I came up the Suicidal Geezers from Milan, I was the tall guy in the German Flecktarn with the G3. (just so you guys can remember me I have nothing else to say) I have to say that it was one of the most memorable games I've played in a very long time. I will definitely be coming back when I can. Thanks for hosting an amazing game fellas.

Amazing game guys. Didn't care for trudging around in the snow all day, but that's what I get for being so out of shape. It was nice how evenly matched the teams were. Made every game a challenge. Nice flank on both teams parts in the second village game and the VIP game. I wish my battery would've lasted longer, but ah well. Had fun when it was re-charged. All in all, definitely coming back.

I actually thoroughly enjoyed the snow, made everything a little more difficult but added an interesting element to the game. Really would couldn't have asked for better weather though.
I was the woodland camo and suppressed m4. We had some intense and great games. All in all I had an awesome time and plan on coming back as soon as possible. Thanks again to the guys who hosted it!

Great Rec event! Very well balanced teams which lead to everyone having fun. The Rec games are getting better and better. Job well done! To bad I was recovering from being sick and could not stay for the entire day And, who would expect to run through 3,000 rounds in a saw in only 4 games! The base defense chewed through my ammo!

I have to say that was the one day when I really let lost control on ammo consumption. I lost count after 2k.

This was one of the first fair weather games of 2011. I'll take temperatures in the 40's over 20 degree weather anytime. We all expended a ton of ammunition that day... I don't like being a BB hose, but I digress... I would like to thank everyone who attended this game and helped us make it an enjoyable time for everyone. I would epically like to thank all of the new players who attended our recreational game. I hope to see you all again soon.
