Got a new doo-dad to play around with... Sight Owl PVS14 Scope Adapter Also did a chop job on the outer barrel and the several hours of necessary sanding to get the threaded adapter to fit back in. For those who have wondered, the outer barrel of the m700's tighten up a lot once you get past the initial area where the factory barrel plug sits. A LOT

With a dremel and about 5-6 hours of grinding. It's something that I would probably never do again without a lathe or CNC mill.

Thanks JD! I'll pick your brain a bit more when I actually get the rifle to try out.
I may have access to a lathe:)

That's pretty awesome. I wonder how far out you would be able to follow a tracer BB, that seems like the only way it would be useful in airsoft.

If you've got a lathe, then it'll prolly take ya' about 20-30 minutes. However, if the bore of your rifle's outer barrel is wider than the KJW M700, you can't do it as the one I've got here is pretty much at the widest you can bore it out to. You can't see in the pictures, but I ground off a bit too much metal on a couple spots and the flash hider is wafer thin in those areas.
The tracer BB's aren't necessary as I use an IR illuminator to watch where the BB's go. I can see them fly just as far at night as I can during the day. (Around 70-75 yards) That and tracer BB's don't work in high FPS guns as you can't even see them fly due to how fast they're traveling. (I may have to make a video to show you what it looks like one of these nights)
