You guys should have done the seeding for the elimination rounds differently. Make it 1v8, 2v7, etc. That way you should, in theory, end up with the two best teams gunning (no pun intended) for the championship. Other than that though, it looks really, really cool.

Good bye. Don't let the door hit you in the ass on your way.
I want to clarify, that Canto is completely in the right on what he said. If someone can vouch that Chavosrh will behave herself from here on out, I will unban her. Otherwise, good riddance to bad rubbish.
We seem to be getting a number of people as of late who happen have some association with A of K coming on here and trying to be confrontational. I want to make it very clear that it will NOT be tolerated. I don't care if you think you're in competition with other field owners/operators, or have some kind of beef with someone, but don't start trying to bring that garbage around here.
We expect that all members will follow the rules as best as they are able. And for everyone here who speaks English fluently, that means you'd better at least be able to post like you finished elementary school.

Normally I feel that personal issues should be handled via the private message (PM) system, but this message crosses the line. This was a PM sent to me from ChavoSRH: 01) I'm actually average. 02) Fiance, not wife. As Thor has said, this type of behavior is entirely unacceptable not to mention inappropriate. I would normally blow off this PM, but harassing me is not an option. I will leave this thread unlocked due to it's nature as an After Action Report. Any and all posts after mine that comment on ANY of the above, will cause this thread to be immediately locked. I will also strongly pursue a 25% increased warning level for violators. Michigan Airsoft Moderators or Staff, are to ensure that the rules of this community are obeyed in the most non-biased fashion possible; regardless of personal feelings or troubles.
You seem to be interpreting this as a personal attack of mine against you and your group. The fact of the matter is that the above post(s) in question were just a violation of the rules and were dealt with accordingly...Adrian Vargas/Chavo/ChavoSRH, You did an extremely poor job of trying to hide yourself. From that alone, one can deduce that you made that account to just cause trouble, or to inflate your own reviews... That being said, did you purposely check the 'female' box or was that a mistake? Also, adding three characters from one display name to another does not constitute concealing yourself. Example: CantoXIII or CantoRoK... *Fellow Moderators and Michigan Airsoft Staff, if you feel I was out of line, please make any edits or thread locks accordingly.

I like spears idea, and was thinking it to myself as the competion went on. I was apart of The Expendables and had a blast. I know it would have been kind of rough for the 8th seed to go against the 1st seed but it could have given them the chance for a upset. Even a losing bracket would have been fun to play with, the best team that lost a match to face the team that didnt lose at all would have been cool. Every team has a bad game sometimes. It also would have kept a few more people there if they had another shot at the title after they lost 1 match.

Hey ninja, I appreciate those comments. You nailed my thinking on the seeds for Speedsoft...
The Disparity between the 8-seed and the 1-seed was just too great in this particular game. I wanted the players to have fun, not get totally dominated...
I wanted to do a losers bracket, too. But time would not allow it. We finished 45 minutes late as it was.. But if I had been more efficient in earlier rounds, perhaps reducing the Bloodbath Round by a few games would have given us time to run that loser's bracket..
Its definitely something to think about for next time!

I had a blast as usual. That was the first time Ive ever felt REAL competition in airsoft. It was new, exciting, and extremely fun. Tino, Munster, I dont think anyone can put on games likes yours. In my 6 years experience Ive gone to my fair share of rec games, milsims, large events, small events, and ther cqb facilities, but no one really keeps the games interesting and pumped full of action quite the way you two do. Its what keeps me coming back every weekend. Keep up the good work guys.

That's a hell of a review coming from the AofK PR Director. Positive reports usually look better when they're not given by the person whose job it is to make that company look good. The same goes for subtle put downs of the competition.
I'm getting really tired of you guys using this forum as a vehicle for bolstering attendance and sales at your field. If you keep treating MiA like a billboard, don't expect to maintain access to it much longer.

To clarify, Kilroy attended this game as a player, not staff. Thanks for the kind words, man. I know you have been playing a long time so it means much coming from you.
