I am looking into upgrading my VSR-10 G spec sniper rifle. I am looking at two different cylinder sets, the PDI Precision Palsonite Cylinder Set VC or PDI Precision Palsonite Cylinder Set HD. I would just like to get some other opinions.

The Vacuum pistons are 100% complete garbage. Stick with a standard stainless cylinder, unless you really like the black, they have the smoothest surface for complete air seal. The funniest thing about the Teflon cylinder, is that a stock cylinder will put out better numbers. Its all about air seal, and the rougher Teflon surface does not make sense at all. It would do something in a cars engine cylinder though, for enhanced durability by less causing friction.
Palsonite is to stainless steel as anodizing is to aluminum. Basically, you'd be paying extra for it to be painted black with high-tech equipment... No advancements in compression, or performance. One thing it just may do is make your piston travel faster, but getting a lightweight piston (unlike the bulky as hell Vacuum piston) would do way more.
Avoid PDI Cylinder kits and any piston besides one that uses a piston cup, not worth the money whatsoever. Stay simple, and don't believe anything high tech sounding these companies try to sell for more money.

So I would be better off buying all my internals separate it sounds like. I was looking into the teflon cylinder and just a laylax high pressure piston. I am unable to find a piston for my VSR-10 that uses a piston cup. If you know of any places to get good parts for a VSR-10 i would greatly appreciate it. I use www.airsoftatlanta.comHowever you cant find everything there.

Evike has some, but be warned of their Angel Custom brand. It's a hit or miss. My spotter and I recently had a few experiences with their products and they're not up to par about 75% of the time. But that 25% can be a great product for half the price.
