I have searched around a lot and can't seem to find one that fits a 557. I found plently that fits a 551. But none for a 557. I was thinking of something like this unless someone had a better idea as to what they use. I am just trying to protect taking a shot to the sight and rendering it useless. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance. EDIT: Just searching on ebay, and found this. Will this work? I was wondering because I don't know that much about eotech's and it seems a bit odd that it fits most eotech models.

I believe the lens dimensions are the same for all of them. The different models only vary in their mount, battery style, and (on the real ones) night vision capability.

Alternatively, you can easily make your own. Just go to home depot or lowes and find some clear lexan or polycarbonate, cut it to fit, and use glue/tape/whatever-you-want to hold it in place.

Anyone know what exact material they use in goggles and were I can get some for a cheap price and not get ripped off? I am looking for something that will stand up to multiple shots and not have to be replaced after one shot.
Just to save money in the long run it seemed like a good option.

Goggle lens are usually made out of lexan and you can usually find good quality lens at any motorcycle dealer. Replacement lens for Oakley, Scott, or any of the other high end motorcycle goggles should run you only around $4 and give you enough material to make two covers.
