Just asking around to see if there's any real difference in quality between the two company's battery packs, as all of my batteries so far have been Intellect. So if anyone can help me out, it is appreciated.

Quality in what? Batteries? Chargers? Connectors?
Tenergy makes a good smart charger thats for sure.

Agree with Gal on the charger. Charges a 1600 mah in about an hour.

Most of my NMHI packs are Tenergy because I got a great deal on them. For the price, their great, and in the end most battery packs are the same. The only difference is price, I have found. The exception is the awful batteries that come with clones.

Thanks for all your help, guys. Just ordered two Tenergy batteries and a Tenergy smart charger. Oh, and I originally meant batteries, probably should have been more clear on that.

Whenever I buy new NiMH battery packs I go with Elite. They're a bit more expensive (especially for large packs), but they are without a doubt the best of the best for airsoft. I've used both Intellect and Tenergy before and haven't been terrible impressed with Tenergy. Intellect are nearly on par with Elite, but I'd still choose Elite over them. That doesn't mean that Tenergy's packs are bad though, however they are cheaper and I live by the "you get what you pay for" saying.

I was looking at Elite's while I was shopping, and AirsoftAtlanta had the style I needed for not too bad a price. Unfortunately, they were out of stock and my over-anxiousness got the better of me. Next time I purchase batteries I suppose I will look around more for Elite packs.

Huh, I always thought Elites were quite cheap compared to others. If you can't find them in stock anywhere try eliteairsoftbatteries.com, as you might be able to tell, they specialize in elite batteries .

cheapbatterypacks.com
They will custom make battery packs for you with whatever cells you want (that they have- and they have a lot of Elite cells) in whatever configuration you want with whatever connectors and guage wires you want. I would highly recommend them as I've bought from them multiple times and have always been impressed with how quick they are.

Just do not buy SRC lipo battereies. I made that mistake, used it twice before it burned up in the sack while charging. $85 down the drain.
