Nice, I might have to do that to my WE 1911. And beware of the mag followers they will break easily. I am going to get metal ones made for myself

beware of the mag followers they will break easily. Yeah they suck. My last one had a broken one. It let bb's get under it and jammed up the feed. I was shooting at someone who I know calls his hits so I was baffled when I shot him from maybe 20 feet and he didn't call. I found out why later, no bb's! I don't know why but this month I cannot keep my collection from changing. That combined with my camera getting a nice downloaded update so that I have better control of the functions has made me picture happy. I'm still getting used to the new interface so some pictures didn't come out as well as I had hoped. I'll be retaking them as I've been shooting like crazy. My Dboy AK is gone. It went to Turk who I know will enjoy it more than I did. KWA KP45 Match She isn't the prettiest thing around but it is one hell of a shooter. It has regular USP sights as I can't stand the match ones. Echo 1 M249 Para I'm gonna have some fun with this. I'm going to repaint it because the current job doesn't match my load out. I'm still looking for a box mag for it. My Pmags fit and feed just fine so I will be limited to 120 rounds for now. It's not as heavy as I thought it was. I found out the hop up on these comes from the factory without an arm. I spent the morning making one and now it has some pretty awesome range. SOCOM Gear Novak Next 1911 I picked up a serpa for it, and I have a black strike mount on the way. Now I just need mags. HK box While I was waiting in line at the gun shop to buy my serpa the guy in front of me just bought a USP .45 fullsize. He put it in a holster and the clerk handed him the box. He said he didn't want it and to just throw it away. I asked if I could have it and the guy just gave it to me. It's kind of cheesy but it's the correct box for my KWA and it was free so what the hell. Tri-shot Because the belt/sling was on clearance for $3 and I have a lot of shells.

Very nice KP45! I have ALWAYS been a fan of compensators. I just think they make them look like beasts...Anyways, NICE!

Lookin good. I was always tempted to pick up that M249 from Turk to mess around with it but never got around to it. But I definitely agree, new paint job asap.

I love the Taliban Typewriter, I also have a crush on USP's no doubt credited to MGS.

The 249 is done for the most part. I painted it in Rustoleum Khaki. I managed to only miss one spot which thankfully is on the removable stock plate so it will be easy to spray. While I had it apart to paint I played around in the gearbox. The quality was OK considering it is a clone. The bevel gear was out of round and when spinning the gears it caused a small bind. The shims were also cut out of round. Outside of the gear set and shims the internals were pretty good but there was hardly any grease. I replaced the gears with a spare CA set I had and reshimmed and regreased everything. I tried to show the true color but like most photo's the color apears a little lighter than it actually is. I'm going to work on getting the color right. I got a good deal on two box mags. Not sure if I will paint them or not.

I decided I wasn't a big fan of my 1911's two tone look. I liked the silver powder coat finish on the frame, so I decided to sand down the slide. It's a big signal flare, but I like it. I wish I could have the slide powder coated to match everything else. I also added: PDI Winter piston head Guarder reinforced loading muzzle for Marui Hi-cappa 9 ball bucking Guarder upgraded recoil spring Real Hogue grip Old New. Still needs more work, but it's my work horse so I doubt I will put too much work into it's exterior. Some crappy shots with the Madbull Gemtech Blackside .45. My M14 got a HUGE upgrade. I have wanted this forever and I managed to score a great price on it. I ditched the old Classic Army scope mount which is easy to knock off center and got a Classic Army Knights type M14 RAS. The RAS works a lot better because the scope uses a railed stripper clip for the rear mount, and the RAS for the front mount. It's a lot sturdier and the scope doesn't move from it's zero even when I shake it around. I had to ghetto rig the scope until I find my other scope mount. I hate the plasti-wood stock. I want the wood look, but my last real wood stock wasn't very strong. Not sure if I'm going to paint the stock or just leave it.

The scope seems a bit far forward, how's the eye relief? It's a sexy looking blaster though. I say stay with the plastic stock, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Really liking the Novak. I personally think it looked better before, but it still looks great the way it is now. By any chance are my ol' 1911 mags being used with this beauty now?

The scope seems a bit far forward, how's the eye relief? It's a sexy looking blaster though. I say stay with the plastic stock, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. It is too far forward to use. If you look closely the scope mount is one piece. With the stripper clip and the RAS being so far apart I need separate scope rings. I have them, I just misplaced one of them. Once I find it I can move the scope back to it's proper position. The eye relief is decent but could be better. Really liking the Novak. I personally think it looked better before, but it still looks great the way it is now. By any chance are my ol' 1911 mags being used with this beauty now? I'm not a huge fan of two tone pistols. The big reason I don't like two tone 1911's is the frame being shorter than the slide. That sharp cut off of color just draws my eye too much. The 2011's with the full length dust cover look pretty nice in two tone. Yes your old mags will be used in it on Friday. I'm just waiting on TheWolfs next order to pick up the barrel nut to fix your old 1911. Then I can have a railed frame and a normal frame.

I'm confused by your use of the phrase stripper clip, since this: is a stripper clip. M14's don't use stripper clips. Please clarify.
