I have to say, I dont know what it is but the look of the M14 with the full RIS on top just looks great. The mixture of old and new just something about it works. Also that particular scope looks good on any of your DMR/Sniper weapons you can put it on.
All in all great stuff, as far as painting the body goes I would keep the wood look also it does not look at all bad.
So as some may know I'm a huge Tri-shot fan. I know them inside and out and I love using them. Since I started playing airsoft I've wanted a TM SPAS 12 with the folding stock to add to my collection.
Today is the day.
It's pretty much better in every way than I thought it could be. The spread is a perfect triangle and it shoots just about as far as an AEG. Chrono came in at 300 fps which is on the high side for the SPAS. I don't have the stock hook, but I wouldn't use it anyway. While it makes some sense in real steel it's completely useless for airsoft.
Did I mention the SPAS is long as hell?
My Tri-shot collection. Double Eagles M3S, TSD M1014, TM SPAS 12. The M1014 is a project in progress so don't mind the tape holding the pressure pads on. I'm going to pick up a TM M3L in the future to round out the collection.

The last pic is win. It's like, "Yeah, we be representing TM".
"In our hearts we - have done good and bad... we have exchanged fire, at both military and civilian during conflict. We have been around the world since our time in the red sand of Afghanistan. We have been waiting for war. Waiting, waiting. War is all we love" Kapitan Balalaika
I picked up the stockless SPAS here on MIA. I never thought I would see one here, let alone for a decent price. You can find the Marui SPAS in stock in a few places. Ehobby Asia still has the stockless version in stock.
As for the stock, search China, UK, and Japan. It won't be cheap but they are out there. While doing my research the going rate for a good condition stock with hook was $200-300. After trying to aquire one I think a more realistic current rate is $300-400. Popular opnion is the stock will cost 2x or more what the SPAS itself does.
After all the work I did to get mine. All I can say is good luck.
