Well, I'm sure everyone is still slinging bb's, so I figured I'd start.
Man, what a great event. Fair play, a fresh change in scenarios, an probably the best time I've had this summer. (only time I've been out, I have nothing else to say) Not as much, if any, ill play. Thank all of SFOD and the event staff . The gold laying job pregame was a good warmup. How many of those did we place?
The airstrike that took out all my comrades and myself on tan, was disheartening but at the same timing hard to hold in the laughter.
Piper, that accent, go apply as an evil general in a fictional, war-torn country movie, now. (I still think Jamaican accent works though)
To all my old comrades and new ones I've made, thanks with putting up with me. I was a bit overhyped up on adrenaline, and I found out 10 mins into the event that I had mistakenly put on oversized jeans, effectively nulling any capacity to run or do anything worth of value, I have nothing else to say. (Seriously, very bad luck)
BTW, hornets are the city's best defense mechanism. (Ouch!)

This turned out to be a good game. Rolled in early, first one there I have nothing else to say. Did not know what team Immortal was going to be on. So I brought 2 sets of camo. We ended up being the civies in the city so we wore mis matched camo.
First time being a roll player and had a whole lot of fun. Favorite part of the day was when Tan took Piper Hostage and the rest of the civies with some green team shooters went on a super secret squirrel rescue mission that caught a lot of tan players by surprise.
It was a lot of fun trading plastic with both tan and green today with great sportsmanship on display. I saw tempers flare and not letting that get the best of the players.
Thanks to SFOD for hosting. Thanks to the guys and gals that were either taking pictures or keeping track of the gold in the Armory.
BTW Pictures please. There has to be tons of them.

This was definitely the most fun I've had at an outdoor game this year. Not a single problem with hit calling, player etiquitte, or engagement limits. The past gold brick scenarios I've played went south only after a few minutes, but we managed to play for 70% of the day and played the game like it was inteded to. I had a lot of fun CO'ing the green team for the first half of the day and negotiating on the radio with Piper and his accent was a blast as well. Pics below. Didn't have a chance to take out the blurry or bad ones soooo......meh. s161.photobucket.com/albums/t240/jdizzle921/MiA%20Games%202010/SFOD%209-5-10/I think there was also another dude out there taking pics with a much nicer looking camera so I'm looking forward to those.

Pics are done enjoy everybody. Again if you plan on using these images PM me where you are taking them. Please and Thanks! s201.photobucket.com/albums/aa176/Xicutioner/OP%20Blood%20Dynasty%20IV%2009052010/I tried to get everyone in the pictures. Some people are in a lot of them. If you got left out I'm very sorry. Let me know who you are and I'll try to get you next time. A few videos are on the way. I don't claim to be a cinematographer though so don't get your hopes up. Here are a couple of my favorites... Knief, I'm not sure if it's a rapist or pedophile, but I can see it.

I'm actually very happy with these pictures. Everything on PhotoBucket has been untouched. Still trying to get the videos up.

I'm pretty sure I was contemplating how good a blow job from Greyfox was going to be when you took that shot. I don't entirely remember, though. Really, it's great to be in some pics, and you got some great ones of me X. All too often I'm in the background wearing my red hat and whistle.
This was game was one of the best games I've been to this summer. The scenario ran flawlessly from the first whistle to when everybody took off around 6:00 (aside from all of the bee hives, which were taken care of quite nicely). Like CQBR said, so often do collect-the-gold games fall apart or get stale. But thanks to quick redistribution and awesome play from the civilians, the scenario kept moving and stayed interesting and fair. And speaking of the civilians, I've got to hand it to Piper and the rest of the Immortals. I've never been to a game where the "neutral" civilians actually worked. I was kind of pissed when I heard that's what we were doing, but Piper made it all better.
All of the players were absolutely top notch as well. I never once had an incident where I felt like I was hitting somebody and he didn't call it. I never heard anybody yelling for an opponent to call a hit. I didn't hear of any overkilling, or really much friendly fire (at least, that wasn't sorted out immediately). The caliber of everybody out there was really outstanding. The game flowed well because of hosts, but also because everybody on the field was dedicated to sticking with the scenario, and not just getting into whatever firefights they could find.
I'm definitely looking forward to the next game at SFOD.

Me and my 2 other friends were the shortest guys on the feild, but we still had a blast. Everything went smooth, and nobody took advantage of our age. SFOD is the best feild I have been too, and has the nicest people also. This event was great, and I can't wait to attend any other SFOD upcoming events.
Btw, Piper's accent was beast.

Best picture of Piper ever, and great other pictures X! My comrades all had a great time, that was by far one of the best run games at SFOD, and the scenario never got old.

I had a ton of fun and am looking forward to the next one.
It was fun playing as a civie and I'm really glad that you guys are giving us positive reviews.
And I got to be a helicopter for a few minutes so it was pretty much the best day of my life! ;D
