I was wondering if anyone knew of a good molle vest that I could buy. I'm planning on eventually wearing this under a ghillie so it would need to be low profile. I would also really like it to be lightweight and breathable because I always get really hot when I'm playing so that becomes a serious issue when my goggles fog to 3ft of visibility from the heat and steam coming up out of my coat. I would prefer it to be $60 or less but I understand that good quality usually only comes with more money so if it's more I'll just save up to get it. I'm 5'8" and weigh 140 lbs if it helps. Links and personal experience would be greatly appreciated. Recon

First off, if your wearing a ghille you don't really need a MOLLE vest. Its just added weight and will make the heat even more unbearable. Second ,if you are having problems with your goggles fogging up I suggest you pick up a pair of ESS Turbofans instead of the vest.

I don't own the ghillie yet and I would like a molle vest because I have multiple ideas on what I could do with it. I just mentioned the goggle fogging problem to give an example of how hot I get. I know that just a lightweight vest wouldn't solve the problem.
Some actual help on what would be a good molle vest to purchase would be appreciated.

I think before you do anything you should pick up a better pair of goggles. From the sounds of things that would be the most helpful at the moment. I am not sure what kind of goggles you own but the majority of goggles have foam over the vents, remove all the foam and that should help with the fogging issue.
Anyways, onto the whole MOLLE discussion. I personally don't think a MOLLE vest would be the best thing to use (I don't think it should be used at all) with a ghillie suit. If it were up to me I would use a a Flyye Right Angle Belt. It is lightweight, has MOLLE on it to attach pouches, etc. and it has suspenders to keep it tight to your body. Another thing I suggest (but it is up to you) is a MAP. A great thing about it is that it can be used to hold a bladder of water and it has another pouch to hold other various things. It can be worn as a backpack so it can quickly be ditched and used to stabilize your gun while you are prone. Well that is my .02 cents.

I ordered a new pair of Flakjaks today and before I was using a pair of ESS goggles with the foam ripped out and they still fogged. Granted it was a hot humid day but I'm always really hot anyway.
Also when you say map do you mean like a map to find directions, or is that an acronym for something?
And ok, lets just say I'm not goint to use the molle vest with a ghillie at all. I would just use it by itself. What would be a good molle vest that is low profile, breathable, lightweight, and won't make any real noise if well adjusted? I know it's a lot to ask for, I'm just curious if such a thing is out there. If there is, and sorry to repeat, but links are greatly appreciated.

Thanks guys and Paranox, do you by chance happen to know how well that molle vest fits? It really depends on how skinny you are. I own the exact same vest, I am quite skinny but yet it still fits me fine (but yet then again, I am wearing a PACA and there is a plate in my MBSS).
