Wasn't worth the 20 bucks at all, something more along the line of 10 dollars in my opinion. This should not have been called an Op by any means. There were what, four games all day? Hardly any organization and no objectives, every game was 300 styled. Sorry guys, but this is by far the worst event you've thrown that I've attended. Like Devil, this is probably my last SFOD game for some time. If I had been told this was gonna be like this ahead of time, I would not have gone.
I did enjoy the small games at the end. To the guy in ACU whose name I did not catch, the shot through the window was a nice shot. No need to apologize for it either, you were justified in firing and if I was worried about it I'd wear a mask.

The Guy in the ACU was Jon. I believe this was one of his first games. Him and I rolled together all day. He did very well, true natural and is now my new wingman I have nothing else to say.
To the elite 8 at the end 4 on 4's, I'd play with any of you any day. We had a pretty talented group of guys. Amazing how much fun you can have with a small group of experienced players.. and knife, everyone eats plastic here and there, just not as much as you ;D
If any of you are heading to events in the future, hit me up!

Yeah, as far as my teammate doom(guy) was concerned, he was shot in the face in the city. The bb's punctured his cheek, and chipped his teeth. He is not the type of guy to try to point people out and get people in trouble, but we definitely need to check our shit and not be over the engagement limit. I saw that shit, and it was nasty. I know that wearing a mask would remedy that, but anyone shooting 350 or less wouldn't have done that by any stretch.
Just keep a heads up about it. Random FPS checks during game play might remedy that situation quickly. Don't be douches, play fair.

I heard about Doom, Someone said he was wearing a mouth guard? When shit like this happens, Random FPS checks are a great Idea.

Piper, I wasn't referring to your buddy. That shit has no excuse outside of someone being a jackass.

Its a real shame to read this about an SFOD game. I've got a lot of great memories of the field. The first real game I ever attended was at SFOD. I'm glad I came in jeans and a t-shirt and left after I got the rail from PaRaNoX.
I really hope that the SFOD guys hear this, because I'd hate to see your guys games go to waste.
Maybe you should consider doing $10 REC games, and when you really have something great planned out and organized, then you can charge $20. I won't tell you how to run your spiel, but it sounds like that's one of the only ways people are going to keep coming back.
For my bit though: I had a great time catching up with some of you guys. I haven't really been out for a long time now (since the Fall, and a bit in the Winter really). There was nasty rain, and it seemed the teams were a little off at the time but honestly I thought it would end up more successful than it did.
I look forward to a good SFOD event in the future! I know they've still got it.

I had a good time in the morning. Warpig, Me and a few other guys were attacking the city from the south for a good 20 min. I was having a good day till my stairs incident and i tore my right rotator cuff. Now I can't play for 8 weeks. But we were able to fix the Tanaka that was bent.

I think the fact that there hasn't been a response to the negative feedback really speaks volumes about why there is a problem.

Now I am kind of glad I didn't make it out to this one.

Doom, where were you when this happened? If you're going down to the city from the top of the hill I was on the far left side...if that makes any sense. I got hit through a hole in the side of one of the buildings where the OSB was rotting away.

Now I am kind of glad I didn't make it out to this one. I have to agree. I've been out of airsoft since the Hell's Survivors game in December of '08. At that time SFOD was the place to be. Yeah, they started late and downtime might have been a 1:1 ratio, but never anything like this. I find the lack of response from SFOD quite sad. What happened? I really hope the organization can be turned around. Otherwise it's a waste of an excellent field.

Connors has always been the MIA liason for SFOD, however since he left for the National Guard MIA responses have been minimal so this is not a surprise. Piper, since it seems you are going to be the SFOD liason for games I would highly suggest keeping in touch with Greyfox, and work with him planning some bang'n games. I also hate to see such a great field loose it's rep like this
