For the record, a PDI trigger set for the Maruzen APS-2 SV line will last more than a year with frequent play on a 550 spring. I played at least once a month; with a lot of practice shooting between, for 2 years swapping between a 450 and 545 fps spring (settled springs, chrono'd at every event in east MI for 2-3 summers). I frequently broke down and cleaned my gun, always keeping a close eye on the sear, which was pretty much perfect, with only minimal wear, no where near a point of breaking. It pays to buy the best parts, sadly, you do get what you pay for with most Airsoft gear.

I think that Livonia meant that the stock triggers will not last more than a year of use, not the high end upgrade ones.

Check. Then he is very correct. Stock triggers are made of pot metal usually, and total junk.

Yeah I meant stock ones. Maruzen uses a plastic housing for the metal sear components, the pins pull through the plastic. On Tokyo Marui triggers, the sears wear/break, but they have a metal housing which is nice.
