Operation Lights Out
Presented by the Royal Oak Salvation Army.
As tensions come to a head China, Russia, the EU, Australia, and the United States engage in electronic warfare, returning the world to darkness as EMP devices cripple most electronic systems in major cities and military bases. The circumstances and current state of this conflict is still mostly unknown, as most electronic devices are inoperable, however, some shielded military installments, mostly communication-based, have survived or have remained reasonably operational. Major industrial centers have been targeted; Detroit and Flint, though mostly dormant industrial centers, have been targeted and effectively crippled throughout a 100km area. The area of operation lies 94km from Detroit and 64km from Flint, within the effective range of both EMP dispersions.
The region has since destabilized at the hands of militant groups as they lay claim to their own areas. Guerrilla forces occupy the AO, but their bases can not be pinpointed via satellite at this time. It is imperative we secure the area. Their numbers and activity are also hidden, however we have learned a large shipment of funds, most likely in the form of gold or cash (cache type 1), and/or possible weapons caches (cache type 2) in transit have been identified and will be in the area during the operation. Their intentions are unknown, intelligence gathering should be on your to-do list through base sweeps and by capture of any guerrilla leaders, if possible. Furthermore, satellite surveillance has shown a well-protected convoy arriving in the area just prior to this latest shipment. In the event of chemical or biological agents a Hazmat/EOD unit has been sent with you and must be utilized upon extraction of this entity. We have identified the general area of this entity, which is designated, "Wildcard".
Be aware our activity in the area will be known, which may result in the destruction or relocation of objectives. Expect resistance in the identification of objectives and securing the area. Because our communications systems are partially operational your element will not be able to maintain communications with command throughout the operation.
A map of the AO and the estimated locations of bases are below:

*Permanent semi-auto refers to replicas that do not have full-auto fire capability, no matter how the selector switch or other user input device is manipulated.
*Bang rule is as follows: When a user has a clear advantage, known as "dead to rights", on another player they may choose to "bang kill" their target by simply saying "Bang", instead of shooting them. This counts as shooting them, but spares the target from being hit from extreme close range. Bang kills cannot be used on more than one person, as they are equal to shooting one target, and only apply when the target is within three feet and oblivious of the attacker, ("dead to rights"). You cannot bang kill and shoot another target simultaneously.
What to Bring
-Protection: Full Seal, ANSI-rated Goggles required. Mesh, safety glasses, skii goggles will not be allowed. Face protection not required but suggested.
-Radios are highly suggested. We will be breaking off into squads, so communication is key in identifying targets and friendlies.
-No Alcohol or Smoking allowed. No pyrotechnics allowed (fireworks, flares, hot or cold smoke grenades ect).
-Bring a lunch as there are few fast food options in the area (Subway a few miles away).
-We hold a Bible study during part of the lunch break. It is not mandatory to speak, but you must be present. The Bible study consists of a relevant current topic discussion. This is not a church service with guns.

Directions to Staging Area
To easily find the staging area search,
"600 Gravel Ridge, Leonard, MI"
on Google maps. If you use Satellite view you can see a brownish area just North of the result. That is our staging area where we gear up and such. It is covered with woodchips, so if you don't have woodchips under your feet you're not in the right place. There are potentially other events that may be going on that would not appreciate people showing up with guns.
