I see that it has been a couple of years since the last post about WGC. My question is, has anyone ordered from WGC lately? I see they got an A+ years ago. I've been having trouble finding the right color pouches for my current tan PC, so I scrapped trying. My other reason is that I just recently became a fan of the CIRAS. I really like the look of the CIRAS (I never had one, so I have to go on looks). I'm aware that ebairsoft has replicas, but I'm looking for better quality in this case. I can't afford an E.I. CIRAS, so next in line is the PANTAC Force Recon Vest Ver.M in Coyote Brown or Khaki. Here's the link and item number if you wish to look at it. www.wgcshop.com/ PH-CG-VTC200-CBM Is WGC still reliable? Plus, is there a chance of customs seizing my vest? I can't seem to find the Maritime version stateside, only the Land version. Some info on the current state of WGC would be very helpful. Redwolf doesn't have my size (M).

I ordered from there around 6 months ago and my buddy orders practically every few weeks.
Haven't heard any major complaints from him, orders with them have always turned out perfect.

Many thanks. I'm sure it would be here in a couple of weeks or less.
Any idea on what I could be looking at for shipping and handling though?

I know this post is more than 2 weeks old, but I figure posting here is better than a new topic.
I just put in an order with them for the first time. My only big complaint is the way they quote shipping. They give rates for several companies but for others they need to write a quote. It's stupid because you can't pay until they send a quote anyway. I figured I would save some time by going with a company that had a price listed. It didn't matter since I couldn't pay until they sent me the quote.
My order hasn't arrived yet, but so far I am very pleased with them. Their communication has been fantastic. I ordered a shooters design slide and threaded barrel set for my KWA USP full size. Their website said it was in stock which was hard to believe because I couldn't find one anywhere else I looked. I emailed them and they confirmed it was in stock. I ordered, received the quote the next day, paid, and had a tracking number the next day.
I will update this post when my package gets here. One of my biggest fears of ordering over seas is poor communication because I can't go see them in person. So far WGC has been great.

You won't have to worry TheEnd, WGC is legit. You also should send in your order multiple times. Each time I send in all my orders, I get a different shipping quote back from them and I just choose the lowest one. For some reason it just happens, maybe someone doesn't know how to work the calculator or something...I have nothing else to say

After a lengthy customs delay my slide finally arrived. WGC was great. They shipped VERY quickly, covered the trades with tape like I asked, and they even put the trades facing down in the package. They included plenty of shipping sheets so it's not their fault it was held in customs.
Overall I would give them an A+. I will definitely order from them again because they have parts that no one else has in stock.

I just placed an order and although it hasn't arrived yet, I am already slightly disappointed.
I placed the order Sunday afternoon, and the order status updated from "payment received" to "packaging" by the end of the night and I was emailed as this happened (keeping in mind that I placed my order around 4am MONDAY morning in Hong Kong time). It has been in packaging ever since, it is now Wednesday, almost Thursday in Hong Kong, and it hasn't shipped. I emailed them and am awaiting a response.
Is this shipping delay normal, or has anybody else had this issue before?

From what I've seen in the past, December is one of the worst months to order from China/Hong Kong. You're not only fighting people ordering for Christmas, but you're also dealing with most of the mainland China manufacturers slowing down or shutting down for new year/renegotiating their bribes to the gov't officials to stay in business (seriously).
I'd say, if you end up getting your stuff at all before end of January/beginning of February, count yourself lucky.
