To end my rant, I just want to say that I again back what Rel is saying and I believe that if you're wearing a U.S based camo whether it's current, or retired, "tan" or "green" you should only be playing on a team that's designated for only the U.S. armed forces.... I don't agree with this 100% just because there ARE militant groups other than the US that do wear US based camo. (ie: classic woody) I do however agree with mixing US based team camos on one team, vs a militant force wearing whatever they would wear IRL. This would make games much more realistic. I also agree with having some milsim games with made up teams. A lot of bigger milsim's do this, and it seems to work if you're stuck on the tan vs. green idea.

There are plenty of other countries who's armed forces use variants of woodland, tri-color, and digital pattern camos. The problem is that most of those countries aren't used as the actual forces that are simulated in most MilSim games. U.S Woodland in itself was developed from a woodland pattern. I mean using woodland for like a Serbian force would be realistic. You just don't see it that much in MilSim.

I think (and this is good because I am hosting Armory Airsoft Illinois first game in July {crosses fingers}) I may run the experiment on this. I think it would make for an epic Milsim if the US/ NATO team only wore US/NATO uniforms and the other team wore everything else not mentioned on the US/NATO side. Like I mentioned earlier, I participated in a game similar to this and it was great. It may have been a fluke that the teams were irregular as far as camouflage goes, but it was awesome none the less.

That sounds awesome Kaboose. You'll definitely have to let us know how it works out! I'll be very curious to see how it turns out! Might even try and make the trek to attend it!
