Odd, I recall hearing that our stuff was being taken by the U.S. side during that whole "push for our boat base" phase.

So, aside from the gun I have been working on for 2 weeks and was finalized at 1am the night before the event and all was well up until the fuse blew out on me twice reminding me I should have listened to Tex and Dahm about bypassing the fuse. What did I learn? (I learned that I really did earn the title, Kaboose) Anyways and more importantly, I must say, that it has been a long time since I have actually been able to enjoy an event. Gestapo, props for hosting one of the best ops I have ever played. Even though I had a downed gun for the whole first half, it was still a huge blast. The second half I was lucky enough to test out the new rental M4s provided by Armory Airsoft. Tex, Dingo, Mongoose and all of the Hell Fish, it was a huge pleasure to play along side you guys as always. Canto, Glass and the rest of FLAK, it was awesome having a great meal before the event with you guys. I am definitely looking forward to the next event.

Kaboose,
My pleasure. I personally thank you guys for making the long drive from Illinois to Michigan for this event. I'm sorry I didn't get the chance to really say goodbye before you guys left, I was a tad-bit pre-occupied...
I will say, there will be plenty of future events for you to attend... =)

It was our pleasure to take the trip. Me and the rest of the Egg Heads (especially the ones who haven't met you guys yet) are looking forward to the future events. Thanks a whole bunch for everything and we from the Egg Heads are looking very much forward to working with our new partners. =)

The communication on the tan side was great in the fact That my other immortal squads were keeping up the chatter, but we never really got objectives. I was leading Recon for Tan and we got behind the green and after not getting any objectives after calling for them for 15 min, we just cleare there HQ and then hit them from behind. The only clear objectives we got were at the end, Get the beer empties (which Recon did), and then hold the trenches, which we aslo did. I was in the first trench right in front of the main trail and when that smoke hit I was ready for a few to come through, but there was a hell of a lot more then a few and I went through 2 mags mowing them down them used my third and fourth mag to Kill and pin Hellfish in the side wood bunker in front of the trench. It was a great defense we had set up. I wish we would have had to defend longer.

By the time we all got pumped up to make a big push on the Tan team's left, Stapo blew the whistle. Tan should thank Stapo for that one

Overall I had a very enjoyable time and would not object in the slightest to coming back.
I found that winter games really aren't that bad as long as you can find a way to keep your feet dry. Sure I wound up getting more water in my AEG than I would have liked due to throwing it in the snow so many times to pull out medic cards but hey, no biggie.
Looking forward to the next one.

It was kind of funny for me, that it wasn't till the end of the day that Relish pointed out one of the old tricks for keeping your feet dry in these situations; which is to wrap plastic grocery bags around your socks, so even if your boots get soaked, your feet keep dry.
That's an old hunting trick I really should have remembered out there!
And the wet cards stickin together, yeah that's one that I'll want to address before another snow game.

Theactionman was moving up, I took out a couple guys that had moved forward (to the side where we were), and we were getting ready to try another push towards the trenches when the whistle blew. Be grateful to Stapo you were spared.

I had a great time. It was good to see y'all and meet some new people. Good goin' CAG on those objectives, we did it clean. Thanks Stapo and Gbaby for a great day of airsoft, you guys did a great job.
I had fun screaming my ass off while bleeding out a couple times. Nabbing the scientists was a blast as well. Our bolt actions didn't want to work but I had a lot of anyway using an AEG. Looking forward to the next one.

Thanks to Stapo, GBiscut, and team FLAK for putting on such a great event. It was my first time out at the CHAOS Paintball field, and really liked the layout.
Even though I could not stay for the second half. I was glad to make the drive to meet some of the folks on MIA that I have not gotten a chance to yet.
Great field, and great game. Thanks again.

We would have held. You guys had a nice number walking back to respawn and we had a nice number coming in. PLus the way we had our defenses set you would have paid in full to take each trench line.
