Note to Mods: If this belongs elsewhere or there is an issue, please PM ASAP. I will alter it accordingly without hesitation. End note.
As you all know, anyone who buys Soft Air or Cybergun is either a newb or a n00b. I happen to be a newb.
I recently bought a group of shotguns, one of which is a SoftAir Auto Hardball II (Spring Shotgun). The only issue I've had with it is the fact that I cannot load the mag. Before I can get it in all the way, the spring deploys and shoots every single bb BEFORE I can get it all the way into the gun. I ripped open the gun last night to see if it's a gun issue, and found that it is in fact a design flaw on the mag.
I'm thinking about modding the mag, but before I do: does anyone have any tips on how to load the mag?
-Mod Edit- Title fixed.

Can you take a picture of the mag or shell that it uses?

I have nothing else to say, I used to have one of those about ten years ago! Fun little guns, and accurate too. If they still make them the same, you pull down the spring and move it left or right so that it stays in a little grove to make loading easier. Then you load the BBs and gently release the spring so it doesn't slam up into the BBs. Also make sure that the magazine is seated properly. Let me know if it's a different problem.

Bison: That is the gun, and it seems to be a similar problem. However, there is no way to gently release the spring. I will load it, and put it in the gun, but it releases the spring and bbs before it's locked into the gun. I was told to put in as fast as possible, but it doesn't work when I do that. It looks like the magazine's tip can split, but is held together once it is inserted into the slot. I'm not sure how to get it to keep from spilling before it is inserted fully.

It turns out that the mag that came with the gun was missing a piece (the one that holds the bbs in the mag). I bought a new mag, and the gun now works perfectly. I appreciate "all y'alls" willingness to help.
I think this board is now obsolete.

Why would we delete a thread that may be useful to future users that have this problem?
I really wish people would stop telling us to delete threads outside of commerce.
