Well, then...
Tango Mike for all the helpful advice re: BBs and such.
It looks like there will be three (3) of us attending on Saturday. My nephew's (treebark) cammo is as much brown as it is green, so we decided to go with ACU uniforms. I guess this means that means that we will be falling in with the US/UK forces.
See you all then,
Chris

I would highly suggest against any sort of hunting camo. Go out and spend the small amount on camouflage from a surplus, or thrift store near you. This is a Milsim event, meaning Military Simulation. I know that I, among many others am not alone when I say that I will be extremely disappointed if I see people in hunting camo at this event.
I understand if that's all you have, and if so, then some sort of a recreational game will be more fitting for first time players than a game of this size. Out of respect for the over 120 some odd players who plan on attending this game, please don't show up in hunting camouflage.

Sorry for all the confusion/step toeing. Due to the reason mentioned a few post back I will no longer have BBs for sale at the game site. For players that need ammo please go to Canto or Tex directly for all your immediate ammo need.

Big Texas, I agree with you on the subject of MilSim and Cammo. I know where you are coming from, I used to be very involved in historical reenactment until my real-world military obligations took up so much of my time. My son and I will be in ACU; I have all I need, but my son spent his own money to purchase his. My nephew will be wearing what he has because that is what he has. I would offer the use of some of my stuff, but both of them are taller than myself, and the uniforms simply would not fit. This is their first time at an actual MilSim airsoft event (vice "backyard airsoft"). It is my hope that they will be inspired by all of you in "the real stuff" and go that route, possibly interesting some of their friends and growing the sport for the future. So, I see this as an opportunity to further MilSim in the state; inspire some future airsofters. I hope that we will not ruin the experience for you and that you will take the time to encourage them and show them how to "do it right". My most humble and sincere apologies if this sounded "snooty". I just want this to be a fun and positive experience for the boys so that they will want to become more seriously involved in the great "sport" of MilSim airsoft. Chris

Tanker69. I'll bring some extra gear for your nephew to try on when I get there. I have some Flectarn and some ACU/Misc. stuff. Give me a shout the morning of at 616.901.1434

Devil Dog, you rock!
My nephew, Andy, is about 6'2'' and about 180 lbs, I'd guess. If you have anything that fits, that'd be great. We were scheduled to be on the US/UK team, so brown/tan/gray/black. I'm not sure just how Flectarn fits into the green vs brown scheme. We need to pop smoke and leave a bit early, so we will have to make arrangements for returning any borrowed items.

Tanker69, it's extra for a reason. I've got ACU stuff that will most likely fit him. If he's not picky. If it does? It's his!
