"bring mosquito repellant"
Good call. We should thank our lucky stars that weather.com is predicting cool temps for Sat. 80-degree weather would have been hell; we'd be eaten alive.

I wont be able to make it tomorrow. Feel bad for not giving much notice. I went to shoot my psg and there was nothing but the trigger clicking. So I spent some time trying to figure out what the problem was, and I've concluded its is the wire that connects the battery to the switch. But to figure that out I had to take out the motor. So now I have to adjust the plate that holds the motor in to the right tighness to make it work again, and thats going to take a while, not enough time to make it before the game. Well, hopfully everything will be functional for the next game

Sigh. I was parked in the Arby's parking lot from 8:15 til 9:45. I saw a couple guys in chamo around 9:15, but they took off before I got a chance to talk to them.
Didn't see anyone else... What happened?
edited to remove something... Why so defensive sickpointe? I'm sorry if that came off accusatory, it was not meant to be.

KMGor! What happened? I mean, all of the guys were at Arby's, we were all there except for you. Do you own a red car? Just wondering, because there was a red car parked on the side of the building... Were you on the opposite side of the guys with camo? Missed ya.

I'm very sorry that happened KMGor! Me and Newman got to arby's right around 9:15, and everyone was there and getting ready to leave. I never even got out of the car, and I assumed everyone was there and ready to go play. I realized around noon that you weren't there, when I was doing a Benelli count..... bummer I hope you will come and skirmish with us another time, and I hope you didn't have a very long drive. Damn, I feel so bad! You must have been parked on the far side of arby's or something, because when Newman and I got there everyone was parked on the side towards the road, and there were 4 or 5 cars with everyone standing around.

Just wanted to thank everyone for the great game today. Even with the weather being bad in the early morning hours we still managed to get in some quality airsoft time. It was a pleasure to finally meet Vitalis and his two lovely sidekicks and I'm also glad the new guys from my wee town of Romeo had a fun time.
KMGor: Doh! I don't understand how you could have missed us, if you were in fact parked in the lot from 8:15 - 9:45 and saw a bunch of guys dressed in camo why didn't you just come on out and say howdy? Motown was there for a while even before Viking got there with Ballista and myself so we were all pretty much there from 8:30am. If you did miss the convoy you could have called us on the cellphone # I posted last night. Aah well, it's too bad. Hopefully you'll make it to the next event.

Yeah, I was reading a book (The Bourne Identity, just so ya know) til about 9. That probably had something to do with it.. I was in a silver '97 Taurus, opposite side of where you guys were. I guess I should of been paying more attention. My fault. I didn't even see you guys til one chamo guy ran and talked to someone in a van real fast. 15 seconds later you'd taken off. I tried to follow, but before I'd even got out of the parking lot I'd lost sight. Ah well. I'll see ya guys at the next game. I'm glad a couple of you noticed I wasn't there. ;D You guys always meet up on that side of the lot? I'll keep that in mind next time. Heh. Oh yeah, and Sickpointe, I wasn't disappointed in any PERSON - just disappointed I missed out on a skirmish. K? edit: Oh yeah, I live just outside of lansing, so it was only like a 20 minute drive. Not to big of a deal.

Ah, that was Newman who you saw then. When we pulled in everyone was getting ready to leave, so I had Newman run over and tell Vitalis that I would pull out last and be the rear vehicle. Forgot to mention it before, but great game today guys (and gals ! I'm glad we all stuck it out through the rain, since it actually turned into a really nice day. It was great to meet some new folks, and put faces to names. I hope to see all of the new people again at future games. I had a pretty crappy day play-wise.... I just played like ass all day, from the very first game where I was slip sliding all over the hill, to the end when I was using only my uzi. Still, I had lots of fun, and I learned that you conserve a lot more ammo when the field is so overgrown; you can't see anything to shoot at half the time! I think I only got 3-4 kills all day and used maybe 300 BBs. Ah well, there's always next time!

Oh man that really sucks KMGor; yea we always meet on the side of Arbys that faces the main street. Doh, that makes me feel really bad. At least you did have to drive like an hour or anything. Ill be hosting another game on the 29th, if you wish to attend ill make sure your reserved a spot, for our lack of checking the other side of arbys before we left. *evil eye at Hadoken*
Game summary:
Well I am with Minky, I believe I got 4 confirmed kills all day, and must of died what…. 15 times or so? Sheesh, pretty sad sense I know the terrain better then anyone else. But still any airsoft is better then no airsoft am I right? Even if you get shot up all day. Was great meeting some more board members, and playing with the sword and shield was cool too. Make sure you PM me some links Vitalis and ill check it out and make sure I can get some Sunday off to come out for a practice.
Anyhow all keep the 29th on your calendars open, that will be the scenario-based skirmish that was suppose to be held today. Now I need to go buy an elite weapon or piece of equipment to taunt Minky w/ at the next game.

I probably would of ended up robbing the Arby's or something... Heh. And yeah, my Saturdays for the whole summer are gonna be clear, so I'd love a reserved spot. This time I park on the RIGHT SIDE. ;D Oh, I have a friend who'd maybe like to play. I know yer not gonna reserve him a spot til he posts here, but I'm gonna ask him if he can come the 29th. He doesn't have chamo, but if he just got say a chamo jacket or wore a black sweatshirt would that be cool? Or is full chamo gonna be required since it's a scenario? He's a real cheapskate . I've been trying to get him to buy full sealed goggles for a while with no luck.
