When he says best prices, he means it. Jay has beaten internet prices on everything I've bought from him. Last night I bought a box of MAG M4 Midcaps from him for $50. By the way, Kurt, you spelled "Phoenix" wrong.

I buy everything from there. He can get almost everything even super core pistons.

You can come and pick it up. We will not do the repair and we will refund your money. It takes time to diagnose a problem and get the right parts in. You told us it was gears and it was not. We have the parts in they would have been in today but I feel you are not confident in our service so you may pick it up tonight with out the repairs thanks for your time and sorry we can not help you.

I'm the one who looked at your P90. I'm only posting to provide information about the repair.
The problem with the gearbox was that the angle of engagement, the angle at which the sector gear teeth engage the pistons teeth, was very bad. This caused the sector gear the chew through all the teeth on the piston due to poor alignment. The reason we had to order the piston was because we needed one that was missing the second tooth to help fix the angle of engagement problem. Had we replaced the piston with a standard piston with full teeth it would have stripped out again.
Rather than take a standard piston and cut off the second to last tooth we ordered the proper part to repair the box.
I'm not going to comment on anything else as it's not my place. I took your post as questioning my abilities as a tech and wanted you and everyone else to know that I was trying to repair the replica properly.

I dropped off my p90 for a new spring and bushings. The date they set for it to be finished was correct and the gun worked perfect. I'd go back there for anything I need.

Any knowledgeable tech... Don't deal with this guy ^^ It's not worth the hassle he will cause. I could write up a long reply.. But knowing who it's for it's not even worth it. Oh and we still expect that receipt. Edit- How do you play at games knowing you gun probably gets "eye fucked" by everyone there?

I am the individual who sent the PM to this guy. I believe thathHe misinterpreted what I said, and from there, blew the whole thing out of proportion. I made the mistake of referring to Phoenix Tactical as "the field" as I do very often. It's a lot easier when someone asks you where you're going to say "to the airsoft field" than it is to say "I'm going to Phoenix Tactical's indoor airsoft arena, storefront, and repair shop which is also open to private paintball parties to groups of ten or more." Immediately I receive a reply back telling me how upset he was that his gun was being played with and not being fixed. After trying to rectify the situation and explain to him the mis-communication, I realized that this person had already made up his mind and that he wanted this problem to be as big as it could possibly be. I guess it shows me what I get for trying to be nice and paying someone a compliment.
I had no contact with this person before this incident. from what I can gather, he is the kind of person who goes out looking for conflicts for his own entertainment. He was completely uninterested in listening to the explanations of what had really happened and had his mind set on the situation being what he had originally jumped to the conclusion of this being. I respectfully hope that anyone who reads this realized what this guy is worth and for their own sanity, steers clear of any dealings with him.
And we are the unprofessional and irresponsible ones :/

I love how he says "Eye fucked" so many times, what bad do you think will come of someone seeing your gun? Do you honestly think the Phoenix Tactical staff would allow anything to happen to your replica? I know many of the Phoenix Tactical employees personally and feel that this review discredits how well Jay and his staff run the field. If you are second guessing the reliability of Phoenix Tactical then please don't, this seems to be an isolated incident of communication errors and an impatient "customer" overreacting.
Some things are a lot more substantial for removing feces. Such as toilet paper....and why are you typing this with a "shitty ass"?
If your typing from your toilet ignore the second question.

Made me think of: HA!! I've had nothing but good experiences with all the guys at Phoenix Tactical and it seems to me that this may have been an overreaction or a customer that cannot be pleased.

In the future, Puckhunter, learn to articulate your PM's so that they don't sound so missleading and child-like. Your "attempt" at trying to rectify something-you caused, was a complete failure. It failed because you wanted it to fail. You made no attempt to make the situation any better. Did you want the gun to go into a vault or something? When you take your car to a mechanic do you make them put your car in a separate garage to be worked on? Honestly don't even reply to this. You're a customer who just can't be satisfied. As all these guys just posted and agreed you just can't be pleased. I understand the whole ignoring part... But you complained about every little thing trying to blow the whole situation out of proportion. When you question oldmanjay you question Phoenix Tactical as a whole. I do think you just wanted to start a fight, complaining about every thing from the receipt to where the gun was located after you dropped it off. Also... You can look down a little bit in our sigs and see the BIG Phoenix tactical sign. You can clearly tell who is an employee and you are just saying shit to fuel the flame.

Forgot to post a review...... I've gone through Jay/PT many times now for hard-to-find/special order items. The items have been exactly what I order, and delivered to me in a timely fashion. Unfortunately the last couple items I ordered through Jay were backordered from the suppliers, I called Phoenix Tactical and spoke with Jay personally and he was very helpful and understanding in setting everything straight. I will definitely be doing business with him for any special items I may want to order in the future. Thanks

That said, other than a bit of a wait in line for repairs, I have had nothing but good experiences with Jay and his ragtag group of shop dwellers. I've PM'd him about some of my stuff in the shop and he replied within 24 hours.
