A new place that used to do paintball only, now does airsoft. I e-mailed the guy and he said the following: "We are doing a massive expansion that will triple the size of our field, and will include a 'fort' for attack and defend scenarios. It is $5 a person for airsoft and that is it" This is in Branch County, so it's pretty southward, but just thought I'd throw it up here because it's pretty close to me. The website is www.278zone.comMods I don't know if it is advertising if I include the website, if so let me know and I will remove it. It's just for people who want to know. EDIT: I guess the website doesn't say anything about airsoft nor does it have any field pictures. I guess it's just useful for contact information.

There's some abandoned building 0.6 mi down Wise Rd. from Carrol lake Rd. near Commerce Twp. I've seen it, it would be pretty good for airsoft. But I dont know who owns it and there's no contact information anywhere around it.

Soulcatcherteej, in the future please use the "Edit" button in the top right of your post if you want to add information, instead of posting twice in a row (called double posting).

There is an old Farmer Jack, that has been shut down for years, on Joy and Mortan Taylor in Canton, MI I don't know if that helps, but here ya go.

There are a couple empty movie theaters in westland. Might be possible to get in there.

There's a closed Meijer in Greenville in Montcalm County. It's been vacant for years.
I've been in the desert for the better portion of a year so I don't know for sure whatsup with it. There have been several rumors of it being demo'd or bought over the years.

just a thought about stuff in detroit... I know people who used to play paintball in the abandoned packard plant. It was a dumb idea for many reasons, but they did, and the atmosphere was impressive. Presumably, if you get ahold of someone who owns the building, you won't have to worry about structural problems, like cave ins and bad floors; but you still may run into squatters.
I mention this because I KNOW some people will look at this and think "well heck! me and my buddies can go to [xxxxx] and just play for an hour or so. Nobody ever goes there!" I may have had the same thought myself when I was younger. (And that's how those guys played in the packard plant).
If you aren't in a substantial group, if it's not a nice area and if there are squatters, you could be in a world of trouble. Be wary.

I know of 2 good places. 1 is an abandoned K-mark in Flat Rock off of Telegraph and thee other is the Star Taylor movie theater that closed down last December. I will make a call for both of these places but would like to know if anyone would come down this far. It seemed to me most of you are located a bit north or west of Detroit so let me know.

The whole farmer jack chain is run down in Michigan, and those empty buildings have already been bought out by some other local chain store. I think it is Spartan Imports. Rumor has it that they will be moving in this summer.

Back on the topic of the closed down Meijers at Maple and Livernois, or 15 Mile and Livernois, there is also a Biglots that has been closed for a while, almost right next to it. It would be convenient for Metro area people and looks like it could be pretty good. It has a large parking lot, with a McDonalds and Arby's infront of it. It would be awesome if this place could be used for CQB.
PM me if you want me to get the info on it.
Please PM me.
Thank you.

If all you have is the phone number that's on the building it's pretty much a dead end.

In Livonia Michigan, right off the I-94 Service drive as you exit on...Farmington RD I think? There's, what is seriously, an abandoned Chi-Chi's restaurant. That thing has been vacant for at least 10 years with 0 renovations done to the outside. For all I know, it could still have all the furniture in it. Not much point in me calling, I'm 16, but I drove past it today and thought, "Damn, that could be a fun CQB place".
As a suggestion, anyone who's seriously interested in getting into a CQB field, check with the city of Detroit or local Property Management companies. Who knows where Detroit would let us play for a couple extra bucks here and there.
Does anyone know what happened to Westland Mall? I used to go there as a kid for the arcade but I know the whole thing shut down in the last 5-8 years. Shit, not like anyone's gonna be buying that behemoth anytime soon, might be worth checking out as well. I just remember that place being absolutely huge and would be a frickin' great place to play.

If we got everyone on MIA to give $X we could get a new CQB feild owned by MIA, which would be pretty sweet.
