A game at an old prison facility in Ohio would be pretty cool to attend in since No Vac isn't happening. Let's try to get something going at the prison in Standish before they move the Guantanamo Bay inmates there.

I doubt anyone is gonna wanna drive to it though. I'll be checking into it once I get back in the spring. Sky: Hahaha....

Yeah, I didn't think that was funny. Lid and the Fish tried pretty hard. Where abouts are you Cqbr? I'd drive a bit to play in an old prison.

Too many people with their panties in a bunch over a failed game. It's not the first and guaranteed, it's not going to be the last game in the world that gets cancelled. No worries. I would however, give up on that building for any possible future events. I wasn't going to go regardless, because of work so I'm less butt hurt over it than everyone else. So, as a joke, I'll just post this: www.youtube.com/watch?v=b_KdjJzIt4kLighten up. It's just a game.

Doesn't bother me. First I laughed. Then I cried because it was true. Actually I thought we would have gotten that response a while ago. I'm surprised it took this long.
Anyways at least we tried to do something good for MIA and for others and we're going to keep trying no matter how many times it takes.
Like someone once said, "You swing big, you miss big". We missed big this time but we're due for a home run anytime now.

Me either. Probably for the better that it doesn't exist anymore though.

He or some one must have deleted it, I have looked and still not seen the negative post? If he himself didn't delete it a mod prolly did. In that case, I suppose our 1st Amendment rights are null and void when we login to MiA. Yeah, I didn't think that was funny. Lid and the Fish tried pretty hard. Where abouts are you Cqbr? I'd drive a bit to play in an old prison. Petoskey/Harbor Springs area (Place of play, not where I am located)

Actually CQBR, you have no 1st amendment rights on MIA, as its a private board rather than public. Something to that extent, either way, mods can do whatever.

OK, I think it's time we lock this thread up as it is in the event area and this is not an event anymore.
As for the post that was deleted, it's funny as all get out. If you can't laugh at lifes failures your are going to live a very depressing life!
The Hellfish put in a great effort to get the event going so Hoorah to them. I would recommend that next time it is a little more set in stone before they make anouncements but I understand the excitement as well.
Thanks for the effort guys.
