Well of the bat you know its gonna be of low quality. But thats really ok if your not putting a lot of wear and tear on it and your a new player I had a black one from Ebairsoft and it still holds up to this day although I've drifted away from it slightly. Now if your going for a MARPAT setup (Like I have) I'd personally stay away from CB. I'd go with an OD land ciras instead or in my case a black. Black can really go with any camo which is why I chose it. Black goes with tan and green (IE: Good guy bad guy) which is good and will give you the most bang for your buck. But OD and MARPAT looks sexy as hell. The chose is really yours. miairsoft.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=gallery&thread=24228&page=1

I bought a woodland FLC from Thor about 2 months ago and just got my MARPAT bdu's, and with woodland pouches it looks and matches pretty darn good. Also with a ton of gear on it, it still is pretty comfy so all in all I would totally recommend this to anyone and plan on keeping it for a while, or until I can find a issue MARPAT FLC, which might be while. Here is a pic of my MARPAT load out, don't mind my sloppy molle gear setup this pic is a month old and I just threw the pouches right on the vest when I got it.

Coyote Brown is the gear color that Marine Force Recon wears with their MARPAT. And in fact, they wear that CIRAS that you linked to (except, they wear the real one, of course). If you bought that vest, you'd have a good start to an accurate loadout. Plus, despite what Chaos says, CB and MARPAT looks awesome: And don't get a black vest unless you need it for an impression look. Black is a terrible color to wear lots of when you're trying to hide. It's not a color that occurs naturally in large patches, unless you're playing near an old volcano with lots of obsidian around. Last I checked, there wasn't a ton of that in Michigan. In the woods, black stands out like a sore thumb. There have been numerous times where I was able to spot and shoot an enemy solely because he had on a black vest. I couldn't see a thing through the trees except a large patch of black, so I shot at it and got a hit. Had the opposing players been wearing Coyote Brown, OD, or a pattered vest instead, I never would have seen them, and they probably would have nailed me. Black just doesn't work.

If you want an accurate marine impression, go with CB.
Edit: Yeah Knief got it 100% right, black looks terrible on almost anything other than black or urban camo. The CB is the way to go.

I lose. But I still don't like CB.

If your getting knock off gear, at least go for the Pantac knockoff stuff. Theirs is at least comparable to real gear companies' stuff rather than EB's subpar stuff.
Agreed on the CB -vs- Black debate as well. Black is the most worthless gear color in the world. People who wear it with any uniform aside from solid black camo, has no idea how many people snicker at them behind their backs because they can be seen 392704720 miles away.

Wow, that was a good guess on my part. I have nothing else to say. I was looking at some PANTAC stuff and it is a little expensive. more than I was looking to spend but do you all think that it is really worth it? If you think it is then I will save up some more and get it. BTW thanks for all the replies.

I'm an advocate for buying the real gear, but if you can't/don't want to go with the Eagle Industries CIRAS, the Pantac is the next best thing.
You will not be dissappointed with the Pantac version of that CIRAS. The Ebaybanned stuff is very subpar and you will kick yourself for cheaping out on the gear. Especially if this is going to be your only rig and you'll be wearing it to every game.

agreed. I buy Pantac for the base platform and then buy the real deal stuff.
Check Redwolfairsoft.com or airsoftsmith.com for Pantac gear Loneranger.

PANTAC is the best stuff money can get in terms of replica gear. Hardly anyone here uses a real Eagle CIRAS (Land or Maritime) so don't feel too pressured to even consider that as an option. As a previous owner of a lot of pantac things, and a current over of two different sets of Eagle Gear - they are surprisingly close in quality (both made of 1000D Cordura, not 600D Nylon which is crap). Two only difference is the stitching quality. While PANTAC's is very high quality, Eagle's is obviously higher quality. Other replica's stitching is WAY worse however, so PANTAC beats all the competition once again. Anyways, skip all that EBB stuff and save up for PANTAC (Yeah I really think its in all caps... but it seems sort of silly to type it that way). You'll thank yourself, and your new found inner strength to not splurge on cool looking stuff

Also look into Flyye, it's said that it has quality on par, or higher than PANTAC. I'd skip that EBB one, everytime I see one the quality just looks god awful.

I have this vest from ebaybanned: www.ebairsoft.com/tactical-cira-armor-vest-p-968.html which is similar to the one you are looking at (they're both maritime CIRAS's). And honestly, I'm fairly impressed with the quality. It may not be Pantac or the real Eagle shit, but most players won't be able to really tell, especially once you put some plates in it. If you want, I'll take some pics of how I have mine set up, since it's basically done now. The Chinese stuff is getting better every day. There was definitely a time a year or two ago when you could definitely say that buying Pantac or whatever was worth the extra 100 or so bucks, but that gap is getting narrower and narrower.

Yeah, Flyye is the same quality of pantac but much cheaper. As a comparison, it is 215 plus shipping from hong kong for pantac. I can get Flyye for 190 plus shipping from here in MI. These are both the fully loaded versions of the vest.
