Yeah, I shoot the bull with Blindshot a lot, and he has a CA M24 with a PDI hopup too, so I know all the M24 ones are fussy. When I said, maybe they all were, I was saying that maybe all PDI hopups are fussy for all models. Thats all. Blindshot has his fine tuned, and it is a man killing beast, so I know it can be done. Not my prerogative though. Fussy but so worth it when you get her "sighted" in.

I was actually speaking on the behalf of all PDI hop-ups. I have a PDI Hop for my APS2 and so far its but nothing but a hasle, but like you said, once sighted your good to go. Problem is changing springs or BB weights means changing hop-up. My hop-up is consistently shooting curved-left. I think it may be the ink-tube nubbing im using because I have no replacement nubbing at the moment. But I am having more problems because for some reason I cant get a break. The rear trigger screw has destroyed the threadding of the hole it goes into so it keeps coming out which means that it will randomly discharge, not cool. I ended up placing 5 small square layers of electrical tape over the whole, screwing the screw into the hold after placing the trigger overtop, then placed 2 taught pieces of tape over the top of that. Another thing, my bolt is really lose, not sure why, i think the bearing may have fallen out. When running or holding the rifle on its side, the bolt will fall open. ALSO, if you pull the bolt back and pull the trigger it will discharge, slamming the cylinder/bolt back into place and im pretty sure thats NOT good. I havnt played airsoft in so long because I was trying to build my dream rifle, and now all these parts are going to shit...

The part about you pulling the bolt back to the rear then shooting is with all springs, what happens is the trigger sear in the trigger assembly retracts back down into it's little hiding place and the spring has nothing to hold it back. This happens to all rifles that are spring to my knowledge and perhaps the fact that you've done this several times could attribute to the bolt being loose. My advice is tighten down the bolt handle to the cylinder in as many places as you can, but make sure that it still functions correctly. If that doesn't work, then you're probably looking at a stripped thread somewhere in the cylinder to bolt handle assembly, and you're probably looking at a $150 fix for a new cylinder and/or bolt handle.
Also, make sure when you're recycling the bolt, that you put your thumb over the back of the cylinder, and use the rest of your fingers to grab onto the bolt. Recycling it the wrong way (Just like you would on a real steel rifle, only using the bolt handle, not embracing the cylinder) is cruise control to start messing up things should it be a cracked cylinder to stripped screws. I've seen them both.

Very nice man, look's awesome! Although from a practical aspect, I wouldn't get one of those, I wouldn't want to paint it. I have nothing else to say

Alright all those things were semi-automatic. Well now that I know: Damn sexy gun! No you're right Streetkill, the real steel versions were semi-auto, just AtoZ, and A&K happen to make bolt action SVD's for airsoft. Yeah, it is and it's a fucking beast. I have nothing else to say I was going to contact Jump this week about taking it off his hands... I have nothing else to say Guess I'm not anymore! LMAO!
